Christians: If a psychic loses thier privacy because of abundant new age activity how can it be regained ?
How can one restore from oversensitivity to be able to even read the Bible without demonic harassment?
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 weeks agoChristians: How do you view the concept of the Body of Christ?
Sometimes we are called the Body of Christ, other times the Bride, other times a temple, other times living stones...
In other places trees of Righteousness,
we're a chosen generation, a Royal Priesthood a Holy nation....?
A Church...
I know Paul explains the Body regarding Joints and ligaments and such, but isn't he hinting at the harmonious, complementary functioning of the church as likened to a human Body?
How do you see it?
I find some might be burdening the Lord and others by a kind of cumbersome claim to one another that seems a bit too dominant. Our binding together ought to be a covenant thing imo. rather than some kind of soul ties thing.

Psa_140:4 Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.
Do you think David's enemies tried to overthrow his bowel movements?
I think occutists may do things like that when they assault people.

8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality4 years agoChristians: How is the "world" ours or "death", according to this verse?
1Co_3:22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
How does it apply concerning the "world" or "death"?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality4 years agoChristians; Do you think the heavens are corrupt?
I think this might be the case
implied by this verse
2Pe_3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
This implies that the "old" heavens may not be fully righteous.
Eph_3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
This verse shows that the church have the job of addressing issues that need straightening out, hence the wrestling....
Eph_6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality4 years agoChristians; Do you think Salvation is associated with salivating?
Just wondering because the Bible talks of the rich man in hell desiring water to quench his thirst and also how demons cast out wander in "dry places" seeking rest and finding none.
Also remembering Jesus using saliva mixed with mud to heal the man blindness.
Also the living waters He spoke of that would flow from believers' bellies, though there he was speaking of the Holy Spirit (maybe not quite the saliva, though i consider an association).
What are your thoughts on the matter?
5 AnswersAbuse and Spam4 years agoIn the account of Peter walking on water in Mark 14 do you think there is a difference between "in the boat" ministries and "water-walkers"?
Christians are nominally "water-walkers" I think. Though because we are works in progress, I think "in the boat" ministries abound where families are raised and ministered to, compared with the more radical types. What are your thoughts?

Rev_3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
What doe that mean?
...and how do you prevent them?
Some seem to suggest cybersex-type contending because of the nature of some advances, but i don't feel it's that.
What weapons if any ought we to use?
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality4 years agoChristians: What do you think is meant by "the recompense that that was meet" in Romans 1?
Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Many consider it to have been AIDS. But I wonder if it is some other unfortunate condition. Anyone have any sensible thoughts?

4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality4 years agoHow does this verse apply?
Joh_12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality4 years agoDo you believe the Blood of Jesus is the same or different from the "one blood" mentioned in this verse?
Act_17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
Some teach that His blood was different as that he had a miraculous birth. One minister taught that the the blood attributes come from the father of a child and Jesus had no earthly father so it is believed that His blood was different.
Though we see his blood compared with the blood of Abel
Heb_12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
So idk..
I'm thinking blood might be where the glory of men is compared in the earth.
1Jn_5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
So blood bears withness.
Any thoughts?
