I need help on looking for a veteran. I simply don't know where to start besides Google. I have found some information but need a definite answer if they are the right person. I'm looking for a WWII veteran. The only information I have is the year they were stationed in a particular area in the US and their name. Nothing else.

Any information on where I can find more information about them?

So I'm having a problem with my internet and I'm wondering if anybody can help. Basically my internet stopped working for one of my computers. It was working and then all of a sudden, it stopped while I was on the computer. I plugged the ethernet to another computer and it works just fine. So it seems it's just the computer.

Any clues on what is causing the problem and what to do?

More clues:

I basically visited my family for the Thanksgiving holiday who had wireless. Usually when I visit I had no problem connected to wireless. For some reason, my computer started to slow down and watching youtube videos became a problem since they would freeze. I have Norton so it wasn't like it wasn't protected. Came back home hoping the problem would be fixed by ethernet and it was having the same problem. Eventually the lights that connects to the ethernet on the side of the computer became green to brown. So I know it's something with the connection.

Any ideas and how to fix it?

I saw this white bug while I was vacuuming the carpet. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of it. But it was a white bug that I have never seen before. The only way I can describe it is that it looked like a bed bug with the round back but completely white. NOT YELLOW. It looked like it was an albino bug of some sort, that is how white it was. However it did have black eyes that were clearly visible. Can someone please help me identify what it could be and possible give me a link to a picture of it online. I can't find it at all.

I was cleaning my bathroom with Clorox bathroom cleaner and unknowingly, it stained the grout between the tiles yellowish. I don't understand why it did this since it's specifically for tile and I used it in a different bathroom and it didn't do this. So I'm guessing it's the kind of grout they used for the bathroom. Anyhoo, is there anyway I can whiten this somehow?

I have a 1999 Mercury Mountaineer.

I started the SUV and it started fine. It then quickly turned off, yet something was still on. I assume it was the engine that turned off. When it turned off, the check engine light came on, the battery light came on, and the battery life pointer was at a low. I tried to put the car in reverse but it wouldn't budge. Thus I assumed the engine shut down.

I started it the second time and the same thing happened. Started fine then went off.

Started it the third time and revved on the gas. It didn't turn off.

I then went to Autozone and they said the battery was fine and nothing showed up wrong for the check engine codes.

Does anybody know what could be wrong with my car?

I know this has been asked several time but I wanted to make sure it is correct.

I already filled out my FAFSA and it told me that I considered an independent since I will receive my bachelors degree this May. And I hopefully plan to attend graduate school.

This means I have the option to put down my parents financial information, right? Because I didn't. I assumed that because I will be considered independent for the next year, my parent's information won't matter. Is this correct? Or do I have to go back and change it?

Another thing, I don't have a job. What do you think the graduate schools will mostly give me?

Federal loans, subsidized and unsubsidized?

a guy goes to see a psychologist for some problems he's having.

He tells her a story of what happened to him and his family a long time ago where these guys broke into their house and raped his sister, him, and probably his mother. I can't remember.

And he's trying to cope with the fact his sister killed herself and trying to cope with what happened to him.

I recently used a brush to get some stains out of my carpet.

However, dummy me, it now kind of smoothed out the carpet and it looks different from the rest of the carpet.

Is there any way I can repair the damage?

This may sound dumb.

But for work, I'm suppose to lock a soda fountain machine for the night since it won't be used. The only thing it will do is just stop the flow of soda if somebody presses the button. At least I THINK this is what it does.

However, tonight, I totally forgot to lock the machine with the key.

What happens if you don't lock it over night?

I'm a new seller on Amazon and I just sold two textbooks. I shipped them and everything.

But since I'm new at this, I wanted to know the different advice I should know about being a seller.

I've done a little research and I've learned that some sellers are duped because a buyer would demand a refund of their money, hoping that the seller would do so, and not even send the book back.

OR, it could be that the buyer had a worse condition of the book, receive the newer book, and demand a refund stating that they received the book worse than what was described. Thus giving back the book with the worse condition.

Not only that, I know someone who sold a book on Amazon and now has to refund the money because the buyer said it got water damage, which was not the seller's fault AT ALL. And the book never had water damage when the seller shipped it.

What should I know being a new seller? Is there anything I should know, rules I should know, things I should do to protect the book, and advice I should know as well?

a business minor when I have a psychology major.

The field I'm thinking about doing is MFT which is family and marriage therapy.

What do you think?

Do you think my business minor will be a problem?

The reason why I'm doing it is because I believe every person should know a thing or two about business.

It can be useful in everybody's lives. Especially if you want to open a business of some sort.

And it's too late for me to change it.

But will this be a problem in getting into graduate school because I didn't pick up a sociology minor or something?

Thanks ahead of time. I'm doing a research paper and for some reason I can't think of many at the moment.

Today I signed a contract to get an apartment.

I am a current student at a university. SO, this means I would need a co-signer.

I found an apartment that I thought was pretty good and I signed a lease today telling them that my parent would come Thursday, or in 3 days, to sign the other contract as a co-signer.

However, upon doing research, (I had a mix up on the apartment reviews online. Don't ask.) I found that the apartment I signed a lease for had horrible reviews. Mostly management stuff trying to rip off students of their money.

Could I cancel the contract?

Considering the co-signer has not signed the other part yet?

OH, and I also paid the deposit and application fee.

It's not that much, but I don't want to get a 400 dollar bill saying that I needed to pay them or else because I cancelled the contract.

I recently got a new betta fish. And I don't think he's living in his 2.5 gallon tank real well.

I recently bought him at a pet store where they were very cruel to him.

The had him in a cup like the others but only with half empty water and he was living with nothing but dirt and fish feces. It was really sad. So I had to buy him to give him a better life.

I named him Monsieur Bleu. Can you guess what color he is?

Well anyways, I don't think he's adjusting well.

I gave him four pellets yesterday, and so far he only ate two.

The other two are just floating around.

He does swim around but he mostly just floats around near the bottom.

He's not dead, for I make sure, but I think he's not lively as he should be.

But I'm starting to think he's sick, and has been sick even in the pet store.

What should I do?

Does anybody know what's wrong with him?

Should I buy him a different kind of food? Like flakes?

I just bought Webroot Antivirus with Spy Sweeper at Best Buy.

I installed it but my computer, which happens to have Windows 7, is saying that it's off. The Antivirus IS compatible with Windows 7.

Everything is installed right. It's on my desktop and I just did a sweep which didn't show anything since it's a new computer and it was clean.

However, under options and shields, it says that Antivirus is not on. There's actually a box to turn it on, but I can't click on it since it won't let me. It's blocked and it's pink. Not only that, my computer is saying that it's off and I need to turn it on. When I try to push on the "Turn on" button, it just takes me to the main menu of Webroot. But it doesn't tell me how to turn it on.

So what's going on? Does anybody know anything? Does anybody have this Antivirus program? Does it do the same to you?

I have just seen the awesome movie District 9 and I have a few questions for you all.

1. Do you think that Mr. Johnson, the sprawn Merwe helped, will come back to save his people?

2. Not only that, do you think he will help Merwe turn back into a human?

Personally, I think it's completely too late for Merwe to become human again and I think Johnson knew that. That's why I thought the ending was really sad. Mr. Johnson did promise him that he would return, but I think that he might return to get all of his people, which will eventually, and of course, include Merwe.

3. I was confused about the whole 3 year part. At first Mr. Johnson said it will take 3 years to change him back into a human. But then at the end, Mr. Johnson said he will be back...in three years? I was kind of confused on that part. What did he mean?

4. What are your theories about who Mr. Johnson was?

Have you noticed that he was the only sprawn who actually wore clothes, understood the English language, knew his rights, and actually knew how to control the little ship. He seemed like he was the only smart one.

5. How did you like the movie?

I thought it was awesome and I was really surprised how good it was when I went to go watch it. It surpassed my expectations.
