  • Td/Tdap vaccines and immunizations?

I'm filling out an immunization and health requirement form for college, and it says that a Tdap/Td vaccine is required. Looking at my shot record, it says I have a vaccine for Dtp/Dt/Td, but I don't have one for Tdap.

What does all this mean? Do I even have the right vaccine?

  • "The Foreigner" by Larry Shue?

I'm the student director for my school's performance of "The Foreigner" by Larry Shue.

I would like some advice on the cellar/trapdoor. Our stage is...less than satisfactory. We don't have any sort of built-in trapdoor. In fact, our stage is basically a classroom with a removable wall. So we're going to need to build a trapdoor. How would you pull off the trapdoor scenes?

One idea we've thought of is to put a trapdoor in one of our stage extensions. During the cellar scene with Ellard and the sauerkraut, we'd have a stagehand hiding under the extension and stick his hands up when Betty asks for the sauerkraut and the jar. And then the actor playing Ellard would just come in from the back where he was the whole time. Then in the KKK scene, Ellard and Catherine would find themselves on the extension and somehow the trap would open and Ellard would. . . I don't know.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  • Forgotten book title?

Alright, I really didn't want to have to do this, but I have searched and searched and my efforts have proven fruitless. I cannot find a book.

    So, the plot:

It is just after World War II, I believe. It is about two girl's softball teams. One happens to have a Japanese girl on their team. Everyone hates her, but there is one girl who hates her more than anyone else. And then, during the softball championship, or something, the Japanese girl gets injured (I think it's by the other team, but I'm not sure). Then, her team realizes how much they actually like her, and so they visit her in the hospital.

Whenever I hear the title "Catch-22" I always think of this book, but I looked it up, and I'm pretty sure that's not it.

  • When talking distance, what is a "click"?

My mom was watching Journey to the Center of the Earth, and Brendan Fraser's character mentions that the seismic activity sensor was 30 "clicks" away from Hannah, the mountain guide's, house. What, exactly, is a click?

  • How do you convince a friend that she is pretty?

My friend insists that she is ugly, but me, my mom, and several of the popular girls agree that she should be a model. She says that its not for her face, but that she has a skinny body, and that is the only reason she could be a model. But models have to have pretty faces too, dont they?

And, she said that she could not deal with being in a relationship that the guy is not physically attracted to her, yet she has a boyfriend. She says that he is blind in one eye and his judgement is distorted by his feelings. Its all in the eye of the beholder, right? Well, how do you convince a girl that she is beautiful if she is too stubborn to believe it?

  • Website Bibliography?

Where do i find the date a site was updated?

I'm using <www.omg-ponies.com/?page_id=230> for a persuasive speech (Pirates are Better than Ninjas)

and i can't find the date it was updated, and Im not exactly sure what the name of the institution/organization affiliated with the site is.

If you could explain how I could recognize each aspect of the bibliography, or even go to the site and find it, it would be greatly appreciated.

  • What's Dangerous?

What do you consider dangerous? I need some ideas for a project. I would appreciate ideas that are somewhat common, like running with scissors or playing with fire. It is for a type of poem I am writing.

  • Advanced Freshman math question. . .?

You have a right triangle, Triangle HJG, with J being the right angle. HG is the hypotenuse. I need to find the lengths of each unknown side, using the Pythagorean theorem. Side HG (hypotenuse) is 2x, HJ (base leg) is x, and JG is 3 times the square root of 3.

3 times the square root of 3 *squared* is 27. I need to know the measure of HG and the measure of HJ. But I can't figure ut out. Please help. Each time I work it out I get x=3 times the square of 3 but it is not the same length of JG. Please help.
