Would you date someone with genital warts?
So, this question goes out primarily to the females. And I do not want answers with people who already have genital warts, I want answers from people who are disease free. There's no wrong answer, but I would prefer if you said yes or no, for you to explain your reasoning. Lets all try to be adults here.
9 AnswersSTDs1 decade ago2 barrel to 4 barrel carb swap?
1975 ford 250 with a Ford FE 360 engine. The carb on it right now is a 2 barrel. In order to switch it to a 4 barrel, I need to know the flow rate, so that I can buy a carb with similar flow rate and so I don't flood the engine.
My question: does anyone know if I can swap to a 4bbl carb? Does anyone know the flow rate of the 2bbl carb on these Ford engines?
11 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoHow much welding gas do I need?
I'm going to be welding in some floor pans and probably a few more body panels with a MIG welder. Anyone have any idea how much gas I need, and roughly how much a argon/co2 mix will cost me? I thought it was something I could pick up at Home Depot but apparently I can't cause it's hazardous material.
4 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoVented gas cap on a 1975 ford truck?
Alrighty people, I have a 1975 ford truck with an in cab gas tank. This truck does not have the charcoal canister or emissions control system. The gas tank is the non vented type. Anyways, I've been having problems with too much pressure in the gas tank. This causes fuel to leak out of the lines in the engine and it causes flooding of the carb. I have replaced the fuel pump so I know the pump is not the issue and the hoses are new too. I believe I'm using a non-vented gas cap right now.
My question: Should I use a vented gas cap? I'm not sure what the original cap was, and I'm not sure what a vented gas cap is either.
1 AnswerFord1 decade agoWhich welder: Lincoln or Northern Industrial?
I have the choice on buying a Northern Industrial Mig 130 welder or a Lincoln electric lewk2185 model welder. I'm going to be welding body panels to my truck and that is all the work I will be doing. Both have the gas set up included. I have posted the links for the welders. Please tell me which welder would be better suited for the purpose of welding in floor panels and fenders. Thank you.

3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoWill rebuilding a carburetor increase gas mileage?
I know old trucks get poor gas mileage but will buying a new one increase gas mileage by a few miles? My driving habits are pretty sane and I don't drive the truck hard.
If anyone does say yes, would a 2bbl or 4bbl carb work better. From what I understand, 4bbl is for performance while 2bbl is for mileage. Is this true?
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoHow to salvage floor pans.?
I am restoring my old truck. It's a 1975 F250. The floor pans are shot and the rust has traveled along the rocker panel seam on both sides and has eaten away the metal that the bench seat is mounted on. Anyone who knows these trucks know what I am talking about. After exposing the metal, the passenger sides metal that goes under the bench seat is heavily pitted. On the drivers side, this metal is destroyed.
I will have to fabricate new metal for the drivers side, unless anyone knows where I can find a pre made sheet metal part. I have look everywhere and can not find it.
For the passenger side: can I salvage the pitted metal. It's now clean and rust free but heavily pitted. It still appears quite strong. But the pitting bothers the heck out of me. Is there a way I can salvage this by filling in the pits with Metal2metal? Do I need to fabricate a new piece?
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoBrazing body panels like floor pans and cab corners.?
I have been trying to find an answer in truck forums but no one addresses it completely. I have an old truck and some body panels I need to replace. NONE OF THE BODY PANELS ARE FOR STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY. The parts are the cab corners and floor pans. Buying a MIG welder and set up would cost way to much and would not serve me well in the long run. However, my brazing skills are great and I thought it would be a practical way to connect these pieces.
For anyone who does restoration type work or body work period, can I braze these pieces in?
Also, can I use brazing to fill in some heavily pitted areas on the body metal left behind by rust? The metal is now clean and rust free but bondo would create rust, not prevent it. I'm looking at a cheap and less time consuming way to fill in the pits.

4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWho would you say is more attractive?
So, when it comes to musicians, I guess I'm trying to understand something. If you were to see a very talented guy playing guitar, versus a very talented guy playing the piano...who would you say is "sexier"
When I say talented, I mean the guitarist can playing just about any song and rip up the fretboard with solos. When I talk about the talented pianist, I mean the piano player can play anything on piano and wail up and down the piano playing complex solos and stuff.
4 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoPiano or guitar...that is the question?
This is for musicians who play either or. But lately I have come to a fork in the road. My desire is to be a serious musician. However, you can usually only choose one instrument to focus on as 2 is almost impossible to master. I am pretty good at both. I can wail on the guitar like Zakk Wylde and can rip up the piano like Ray Charles. I play a lot of rock and blues so piano and guitar cater to both genres.
I've heard the argument over and over that guitar is sexier, better, easier to score gigs with and you know the rest. For any serious musician out there, my question is what has caused you to favor piano over guitar or guitar over piano? What are the advantages of each instrument? Which one has a better possibility on succeeding with?
3 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoToo old for the music industry?
This question is directed for those who currently work in the music industry. I am 24 years old. I was going to school for music but had to take a break as other things came up in my life. I am now a junior at a a great music school but lately I've been feeling my age will hinder me if I still pursue a music career. I really wish to be a studio musician and maybe what I have seen is partly distorted but it seems as if to get involved in the music industry you have to start out young. Preferably around the age of 20.
Since I will not be graduating until I'm 26 years old, is this to late for me to make a name for myself in the music industry, mainly being a well known studio musician. I play piano. Don't worry I don't want to be a "rockstar", I just want to play piano for a living.
4 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoclicking/popping sound?
I just bought a new webcam today. I'm trying to record me playing piano and singing. Well as I record, the webcam picks up my voice and piano fine, but as soon as it hits the 30 second mark, it starts to have this weird popping and clicking sound on playback, and it wont go away. I have adjusted the flicker setting, the noise cancellation setting, the volume and fps setting and none of this has worked. im pulling my hair out, what can i do? is there a webcam that wont do this. mind you this is the third webcam i have purchased and they have all done the same thing. im assuming it might not be the cam.
i own a creative live! ultra webcam.
2 AnswersOther - Hardware1 decade agoScared to ride my motorcycle.?
I recently bought my new motorcycle, a 1985 Honda Shadow 500. I took the MSF course with excitement and bought all my safety gear, including a HIT air airbag jacket. I got insurance and was ready to go out for a ride all suited up even though it was 90 out when it happened...I froze. I started to think of the what if's, the "why the hell and I doing this" and am I going to be alive after this ride. I am a complete beginner, I have had some experience with dirtbikes in the past but not road motorcycles. I have been trying to get over this fear for a week now and can not seem to do so.
I work as an EMT, so my mind keeps flashing to those motorcycle accidents where I have thought to myself, "Well someone isn't going to be going home tonight." And of course this is not fair because I never get to see the crashes that someone walks away from. Although I have noticed they always seem to involve someone my age on these sport bikes, who aren't wearing any safety gear and usually are going to fast.
My question is: is it time to sell the bike. I haven't even had a chance to ride it and yet, I feel as though maybe I was not meant to ride a motorcycle. Any advice on sucking up the fear and getting on the motorcycle and riding? This all seems so sudden as I was prepared to accept the risk of going down and possibly die for the sheer thrill of living life to it's fullest. Now it seems as though my mind is trying to stay alive and prevent me from doing anything that would not allow me to come home at night.
19 AnswersMotorcycles1 decade ago1982 honda cb750 and beginner bike?
I am going to make my first purchase on a motorcycle. I have fallen in love with the 1982 cb750 that I've been looking at because it's easy to handle and it's not to darn heavy for me to lift if I ever drop it (which probably will happen once or twice from what I hear). I have taken my MSFA course and already have my license. Although I have fallen in love with the bike, I know the number one killer to beginner motorcyclist is having inexperience on a bike that's too big to handle. I was curious for anyone who has experience with large 750 bikes, is this a good beginner bike and choice? I've looked at some smaller bikes but I travel 24 miles to work one way on the highway and would love to go cruising along the highways in the mountains and need something comfortable to ride. if this is a poor choice, any recommendations?
By the way, when I say I'll be traveling the highways as a beginner, my travels will be at 5:00 in the morning when hardly anyone is on the road. I figure this would be a perfect chance to ride while making sure my safety hazards are limited.
16 AnswersMotorcycles1 decade agoTrouble shifting gears?
Just recently I have had a hard time switching gears in my vehicle. I notice when it is cold in the morning (I live in colorado) that I can shift into first gear, and second is almost impossible to shift into so I switch into third. Once the tranny warms up it seem s as though shifting is fine. However, I have started to notice that anytime I am trying to shift out of reverse, it's nearly impossible to do so. If I do manage to bring it out of reverse, there is no way I can switch gears until I turn the car off, put it into the gear I want and then turn the car back on. I have also noticed when sitting at a stop light, after being in neutral, my car is having trouble switching into any gears. I am suspecting a synchro problem or a clutch problem but not quite sure what it could be.
FYI, the clutch feels fine. When I depress the pedal, there is little play and a nice resistance. I have just recently had the transmission fluid replaced with a lighter oil because of the colder weather. Funny thing about that, this is when the problem started happening. I took it back to the dealer and they said they added the wrong fluid, replaced it and sent me on my way. I took it back recently asking if they had any idea on the situation, and they said they replaced the fluid with the proper kind and told me I would have to bring it to my normal mechanic. Not sure if the two things are related.

I was making some dinner when I pulled the beef out of its package and the plastic snapped sending drops of the blood into my eyes. I'm not overly worried about it and am def. not going to the er, however, im curious is there a possibility that I could get an eye infection from this. I know beef is a relatively safe meat as it doesnt contain samonella or ecoli like chicken does.

My girlfriend wants a gaming computer for Christmas. She doesn't do much gaming besides playing World of Warcraft. I plan on getting something for her but I don't know what the first thing I should be looking at when it comes to gaming computers. Anyone has any recommendations. I would like to keep it all in a budget of 800 dollars because it's not like she needs an alienware computer to play WOW.
