  • I need help finding this online game?

I don't know the name, but in the game you're this little purple round guy, and you travel down a square tunnel, and you have to jump over the gaps in the footing, and you can rotate the tunnel by jumping to the wall. If you know what it is, please let me know!

  • Need a name for a series of horse shows?

My friends and I are running a series of shows this summer. We all ride at the same farm, but the farm isnt the one in charge of the shows, its us, so we cant use their name. They're very low key, leadline through advanced kind of thing. We just simply can't think of anything! Any help is great, the name just has to have "fun show" at the end.

  • Insurance cost's for a horse show?

My friend and I are running a series of small horse shows this summer and want to know what we can expect to pay for insurance. There's going to be around 30 people at each show, and everyone under 18 will be required to wear a helmet. We live in Southeastern PA if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance.

  • Can someone please proofread this essay for me?

This is my college application essay and the topic is "an event that had significant meaning in your life" Please tell me what you would change, if anything. I also can't figure out how to end it smoothly, any help with that would be awesome Thank you!

One thing that stands out in my mind, from the time I was very young, was the fact that I was constantly moving. I was always changing houses, schools, states, even countries. My father is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army, and because of that, my family is forced to move every two or three years, depending on where the Government needs my father. I am currently eighteen years old, and I have lived in nine different places around the world. Constantly changing schools, neighborhoods, and groups of friends can be trying, especially once the teenage years have arrived. I believe, though all the moves, experiences I have had, and friends I have made, have broadened my horizons and it has made me a stronger person. Living in both Germany and Italy taught me what it felt like to be an outsider. I was unable to understand the native languages and I felt lost at first, but as I settled into the new environment I began to understand and learn about the different languages and cultures. Even though I was just five years old when I moved to Germany, I understood that this would be an entirely new learning experience for me; different from anything I had known so far in my short life. Although I cannot remember some things about my early life abroad, I have certainly had some experiences I will never forget. Most Americans my age are not able to say that they have been to the Neuschwanstein Castle, from which the Disney castle was inspired, or have seen the statue of the Brothers Grim, the original fairy tale gatherers. Even at such a young age I knew that I was doing things other kids my age would one day dream of doing. I am incredibly grateful for how much I have experienced in just 18 years of my life, which many adults, decades older than I, have yet to accomplish. Moving to so many different places and experiencing all different types of cultures, has shaped me into the person I am today.

Once I had lived in Germany for 3 years, my father had gotten a new assignment and we moved to Italy. The move from Germany to Italy was somewhat easier because I was older and I had become more adapted to the European cultures. Needless to say it was difficult to learn an entirely new language but I was excited for the new experience and up to the challenge. I visited the Coliseum in Rome, rode water taxis in Venice, and stood on Juliet’s balcony in Verona. As I later read Romeo and Juliet and the tales of the Gladiators fighting for their lives in the Coliseum’s, I realized how amazing it was to have been to the places so well known and taught about in school. Not many people can say “been there done that” when there teacher talks about how great it would be to visit Italy. My European explorations were not limited to Italy and Germany. My family and I would travel to the various countries all over Europe. We visited the Eiffel Tower in France, the Alps in Switzerland, drove through Austria many times on trips from Italy to Germany and vice versa, and Buckingham Palace in England.

When I moved back to the United States, it was just another huge culture shock. The simple luxury of being able to understand the language spoken around me was astounding. I believe all the experiences I’ve had have made a stronger person, and more able to adapt to new situations. I’ve attended two high schools in the past two years, due to my father being reassigned again. This move was by far the easiest; I had learned so much in the way of making new friends and adjusting to a new environment so early on in life, that this just seemed second nature to me.

  • Do i look to big for him?

I'm trying out this horse and he's perfect in every way except height and weight. I feel like I'm huge on him but he does need to gain about 100 pounds as he's severely underweight. Here's some pics and let me know what you think!

  • Our Progress: Then and now...?

Just thought I'd ask people on here to watch my video of Riley when I first got him in January, to now :) How much have we improved? I know we still have a lot of flaws and a long way to go. So far I've only had four lessons on him, with the most recent being a month ago, all the clips in the new video are from last week. Feel free to watch any of my other "in-between" videos :)

  • System restore and external hard drive?

I have a HP laptop that I got for christmas. A little over a month ago it my computer started crashing randomly, mostly while on the Internet, and my programs would close out and say "program was closed due to an error" My dad thinks that my computer is over-run with viruses and whenever I try to do a virus scan, the scan closes halfway though and it says " Symatec has encountered a problem and needs to close"

My dad said my best option would be to move all my files to an external hard drive and restore the system all together. My question is if I move everything to a hard drive, wouldn't that transfer the viruses over too? Then when I go to put the files back on my computer, I'd have viruses again?

Thanks for any help as I'm not very computer smart.

  • So apparently I burned out my clutch?

I have a 2001 Subaru Outback with only like 40,000 miles on it and I have a slight problem, Yesterday I tried to accelerate onto a highway and the RPMs would go up but the car barely moved. My dad (I'm 17)

says I burnt out the clutch as it is a stick shift car. Is this going to cost a lot of money to repair? Could this be done at home? My dad is really good with cars, is there any chance he could fix it? I mean would it even be worth having him try to fix it and potentially making things worse? I'm not great with cars so any info you can offer would be great. Thanks!

  • 55 gallon aquarium tank mates?

My uncle is giving me one, possibly both of his 55 gallon tropical tanks. One tank has a Kissing Gourami in it (its at least 13 years old) and some cory catfish. I don't believe there is anything else in there, but I'd like to "rescue" 3 or 4 Female Bettas(I already have 2) and put them in there. Will they be okay? The Gourami won't eat them will he? I also heard Angelfish are good with Kissers, can I get an Angelfish AND the Bettas? I've never owned a tropical tank, but I've been doing LOTS of research.

    Thanks!

  • I really need some help choosing a bit for my horse?

He's an OTTB 6 year old gelding. I ride him pretty much every day.I started him off in a Dee ring slow twist, but I trail ride him a lot and he would take off and I could not get him to come back to me. So I switched to a more harsh corkscrew type bit and it works better, I mean I have more control over him, but I feel bad. Today I discovered he has cuts in the corners of his mouth from it. Is there a less harsh bit I can use where I am still able to control him? How about a hackamore or bitless bridle, do those normally work with OTTBs? Oh and I ride English so no western bits please :) He's my first horse and the first ex racehorse I've ridden so I could use some help. I don't have a trainer I see on a regular basis either, but I'm working on that.

  • 10 gallon stocking ideas?

    I have a 20i (made for 20 gallons) Whisper filter and a 50watt heater.

Can I have the following fish in 10 gallons:

    1 male Betta

    3 pygmy cory catfish

and 4 or 5 Black Neon tetras?

My tank is still cycling so I'm trying to decide what to put in there. I do have the male betta though and he will definitely be going in there. What other fish can coexist peacefully with a male Betta?

    Thanks
