We are watching video on Dell Vostro 1500 and poof the laptop went dead. press power does nothing. The battery is full. Interestingly, if you plug the power supply in, the litte green light on the power supply went off, and this is repeatable: unplug the power supply from PC, plug the power supply to the wall outlet, the green light on the power supply goes on; as soon as you plug the power supply to PC, the green light goes off. Looks like something went short inside the laptop. I took the hard drive out and it was good.

Here's my question, is the power supply part of the main board? The Dell replair charges $159 including small parts but main board is extra.

My 9 year old plays hockey and loves it. I am a tennis player and have no clue about the sport. I would like it a lot more if the change room has the air sucking fans like those in the bathroom.

But here's the question - where can I get him a good inexpensive hockey bag? His current bag is just shabby compare to some of the coach boys. I really love my son although I hate the change room smell :$(

I've been heavily investing into my 401K/IRA for the last 15 years. I did some calculation - my money basically hasn't changed at all. Sure it went up as much as 80% then it shrinked 50% and now I am back to square one. I would have done better if I have left everything in the savings. I had my money basically in the mutual funds, mixed with bond fund, large cap stock, small cap stock, some tech, some foreign, but it didn't matter. So I am thinking: if a lot of people investing in these muni, why would it ever go up? Are these muni a way to make a living for the so called "financial advisers" "fund managers"?? If so, is there way for "we the people" to win?

BRUSSELS (AP)—A world record tennis crowd has watched Kim Clijsters defeat Wimbledon champion Serena Williams 6-3, 6-2 in an exhibition in Brussels.

The crowd of 35,681 at King Baudouin Stadium on Thursday surpassed the previous record of 30,472 set in 1973 at the Houston Astrodome in the Battle of the Sexes match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs.

Clijsters was originally scheduled to play Belgian Justine Henin, but Henin withdrew after injuring her elbow at Wimbledon. Top-ranked Williams agreed to replace Henin despite a foot injury.

The match was officiated by tennis great Martina Navratilova.
