Today, while leaving Wal-mart I observed a Mother in a van, screaming at a small child maybe three or four years old. She was calling him all kinds of foul ugly names and jerking the kid all around in the front and to the back of the van. She was mad because he was out of the car seat. The child was asking her not to hurt him. When I looked over to see what was going on, she saw that I was looking and stopped, then started cursing at the child. I felt the child was in danger, and called for help. I have worked around the county and seen too many times when children are abused and no one reports it. Yet, if someone does, the parent tried to say she was playing with him. I heard her call him, a M-------- F------, I don't think this was a loving mother trying to correct or play with a child.

I feel very protective of children, as they seem to be victims, I agree children should be corrected, and even a spanking once in a while but, maybe I'm from the old school. I just don't see how a parent could treat a child this way, and yet if it were an adult, they would go to jail.

Can you freeze egg salad, I have a gallon of egg salad and I don't think I've ever frozen any. Do you know? Thank you

Instead of buying everything pre mixed,frozen,seasoned, would you rather know how to make it your self. For example, we made all our own cereals,pies,cakes,macaroni and cheese, before Stouffers and banquet came along, it was made from scratch. Would you prefer to find it already made or fix it yourself

I have gutted a old farm house, the wiring and plumbing is roughed in I need to start on the insulation then the sheet rock.

How is the best way and type of insulation to put in for a Do It Yourself Project. All information is greatly appreciated.

When I was visiting Canada, we could buy the chocolate wafer cookie that they use in the states for ice cream sandwiches. Do you know a company in the States that make these or do you have a recipe that I could make my own. preferably the recipe.. Thank you so much

A young man is dating a woman 12 years his senior. She has been married twice and divorced, reasons unknown. It appears he loves her dearly, the only problem I see, is she is always busy on his off paydays and ready to see him each pay day. He doesn't see it this way,but keeping track this seems to be the pattern. She has not committed to a marriage. Do you just stand back and hope for the best or do you try to talk. It seems if I try to say anything, it will only make him more determined to see her. Would appreciate some advise for an old woman. Thank you
