  • Bleeding for weeks on birth control?

I am sexually active, but I always use condoms and am on birth control, too. I took two pregnancy tests a few days ago, and both were negative. I make sure to take the pills the exact same time every day. I was using tri-sprintec at first, for about 3 1/2 months. I switched to Seasonique for medical reasons (I have endometriosis, and it didn't help with the endo. pain at all). I was prescribed Seasonique, which was supposed to help with the endo. pain, and also work as a contraceptive. I've been on Seasonique for two months now, and I've been bleeding almost constantly for about 6 weeks. It was just spotting for the first week, but then it went into a full-blown period for the second week, about two days of no bleeding, then some heavy spotting/light period for the next 4 weeks. Usually I'll have one or two days each week with barely any/no blood, but then the bleeding starts up again. It varies between bright red fresh blood and a darker brown dried blood. My cramps have been extra bad, too. They cause me to double over in pain and feel nauseous and dizzy, which I'm used to having while on my period, but the problem is I've been having them for 6 weeks straight now.

I have been on Seasonique before. From mid 2011 to late 2013 for my endometriosis, and it helped a lot. I only ever had break-through bleeding once during my first three months, and it was a normal period during my second month. I'm just wondering why it's so different this time.

  • White Ink Tattoos?

I want to get 2 white ink tattoos, one of a delicate lace/filigree pattern on and behind my ear, and the other of the same pattern on my hand/wrist. I'm pretty conservative when it comes to tattoos, and I only have a couple very small tattoos on easily-covered spots. I want a larger tattoo, and I found a design that I absolutely love, but I don't want it to be super noticeable. I love the look of white ink tattoos I've seen online, just barely showing up against the skin, almost looking like scars. I like the fact that theyre not super noticeable, and it's only when you look closely that you see the pattern. I'm really just looking for some experiences from people who have gotten white ink tattoos, or from tattoo artists who have done white ink tattoos. good and bad!

btw, I'm super fair-skinned, so i'd love to hear from someone with fair skin that has a white ink tattoo, as I'm curious how much it will show on my skintone.

  • What is your religion, and why?

I'm just curious why people choose their religions. Whether you're a Christian, an Atheist, a Muslim, a Hindu, a Buddhist, etc. etc. I'd like to know what makes you believe what you believe.

I'm a Hindu myself, and I believe in Hinduism because of the beauty of the religion, and the wonderful lessons, morals, and values that it teaches. I find beauty in everything Hindu, and am therefore able to find beauty in everything, period. It makes me feel good, and whole, and safe, and happy, and like I belong to something more extraordinary and magical than this world can offer.

Thanks for answering! Have a wonderful day!

  • I'm converting to Hinduism, is there anything I should know?

I'm converting to Hinduism from Christianity. I've never felt like I belonged in the Christian world, and I've never felt quite comfortable with some of the beliefs and teachings of Christianity. Not to say that Christianity is a bad religion or anything like that, it simply wasn't right for me personally! I've been doing some research about different religions, and I've found out how truly beautiful the Hindu religion/way of life is. I feel like it's the perfect fit for me!

I'm just wondering if there is anything I need to know about Hinduism. Any little facts/opinions/gods/goddesses/stories/etc. that I should know about. I'd also like to know which god or goddess is your favorite, it you have a favorite, and why. Also, any of your favorite things about Hinduism. I'm just looking for some personal opinions or stories as to why you love the Hindu faith!

    Thank you!
