He is about 5 inches, in a 10 gallon tank, so ya he is too big already. i live in south florida, near the coast, but i have an 80gallon or so pond. it's like 6x5. kind of an odd shape. i put a heater in there, but it's for like 40 gallons... the water is 67-68 degrees in the day, not sure about the night. would it be okay to put my pleco in there? i'm assuming if he gets too cold he could lay on/next to the actual heater, it's pretty warn since it is set to about 83degrees. will i end up fishing out a dead pleco?

Today i bought one male Swordtail and two females. One of the females is definatly a red one, and the male is an orangey striped color and the other female looks like him but yellower. I will put some pics up in a minute. They both already have gravid spots, (one more than the other) and im wondering how big they are right about when she's going to have them.... pictures, please if possible. ALSO.... I just put them in my tank like 2 hours ago, and the male freaked a little when i put him in. maybe like 30 mins, but the two females are still frantically swimming. But is it bad that he is calm???
