I read a book with my 7th grade class back in 2007 and I'd love to find it again but I have no idea what it's called.

From what I remember, the book focused on a boy who was in a tribe of sorts. From a young age the "villagers" were chosen to go into groups/workplaces such as cooks or blacksmiths (I doubt those were job fields in the book but just as examples), but this boy was chosen to be taught by an older man and the boy didn't really get why.

Later on in the book it's explained that everyone in the book can only see in black in white, but the boy can see colors and he was chosen to go with the older man to learn because he's special.

That's all I really remember. Anyone have a clue? Thanks in advance!!

I really don't know anything about these sorts of problems so I'll give as much information as I know:

Compaq Presario CQ5320F PC

System Unit is Compaq Presario, Monitor is Acer.

Now, onto the issue:

I was on the computer this morning for about 15 minutes when I heard a loud "thump" sound come from inside the system unit. It sounded like something fell, I've never heard anything like that from any computer. About 2 minutes after, it just shut off. Now if I try to turn it on, it'll power on for a few seconds and then shut itself off again.

It's not my computer, it belonged to my brother who had a lottt of things on it. Could that have been the issue?

I was on it for a few hours last night, and it was entirely fine. No one was on it between then and this morning..

I was supposed to have off tomorrow, but my boss called me and asked if I could work a few hours early next morning. I didn't notice the voicemail until almost 3 hours later. I really don't wanna go in but do you think it'll look bad if I don't? Is it okay if I don't call back?

I just recently purchased a used (if that makes any difference?) 3DS and all is great...except that I can't connect to the internet. The username and password go in okay, but when I do the connection test it always fails. I even tried to stand right next to the router and it failed. Everything else in my house connects to the internet using the same wireless router just fine.

Here's exactly what it says:

Error Code 003-1102

Could not connect to the access point.

- The encryption key may have been entered incorrectly. (I don't know what that is, but if it's the username and password I've tried numerous times and I know I'm putting that in right)

- There may be problems with the network or the environment.

- The access point may have been configured incorrectly.

I really don't know much about routers at all...I try to change the settings on the 3DS, and my options are things like "MTU Value" and "Proxy Settings"...and I just don't know what that is.

Please help!

Is it a pass per party, or a pass per person?

For example, if you wanted a seasonal pass that was $300, and you had a family of 5 going, would your total be $1,500 or would it be $300?

I want to audition to be a Disney face character performer, but if I don't look like any at all I don't want to walk in thinking I do. (Also, I know how hard it is to receive that sort of job. There's nothing wrong with dreaming, right?)

Do you think you could try to give me a little advice?

I've always wanted to work at Disney World as a character. More specifically and recently a face character, because you would be able to interact a little more. I know that you won't play any one character; you could be Snow White one day and Ariel the next. But I wouldn't want to walk in there for them to think I'm an idiot. However, even if I was chosen instead for a fully suited character, I'd love it.

I've read somewhere that becoming a Disney character is easier than getting into somewhere such as Yale. Is that true?

Any other information you're able to give me would be absolutely appreciated. I've read the audition sites and things, I'm just wondering if I can get a little more raw advice.

I've been wanting to become a neonatal nurse for a while now. I'm almost seventeen and I'm a junior and high school.

I have a few personal issues, so the thing is, I'm out of school a lot. I've been out for at least a year on home schooling type things, but I'm still quite behind.

I'm not the best at math, but when it comes to dosages and things I can figure it out.

My science grades aren't so great either, but I understand the human body, and an infants body, enough to very well take care of it.

I just want to be a neonatal nurse. Of course those things matter, but will being behind make it hard for me to be what I want to be?

My dad told me recently that many medications like Tylenol were recently pulled off all of the shelves due to a recall, but I can't find anything online about this. Does anyone know why? I just need to know if I can still take what I have at home, haha.

I'm coming from New Jersey, and we're in the middle of state testing.

I'm in my 11th year, and we have to take the HSPA test. For our school/state rules, if you don't pass, you don't graduate.

I know Gainesville schools have a different test, but would I still have to take this HSPA test?

Last night, I accidentally spilled nail polish remover all over half of my computer keyboard. After I cleaned it up, it worked fine, and shortly after I went to bed. However, I woke up and now the enter key, apostrophe key, backspace key, and both ctrl keys. Also, my spacebar key, but I don't think any of the remover even touched it. the scroll for my mouse isn't working either, and that's realllllly odd because it wasn't even close to the spill. Any way to fix? It super annoying to type.. (I'm on my iPod right now).
