Try and save a friendship or let it go?
This is a change for me. Normally, I'm the one answering the questions. This is going to be long because I want to make sure I provide enough of a back story to help with the feedback.
I am in my early thirties, I met my good friend back when I was 14 and at the time he was 20. I know what was a 20 year old doing with a 14 year old? Who knows. But nothing ever happened. I had a crush on him, but he wasn't interested. Years later, he had a crush on me but I was dating someone. It always seemed like our timing was off but we stayed close friends despite everything. I am not married with a family and he is currently dating someone. And that is wear the story begins.
His girlfriend befriended me on FB. I don't know why, maybe because she saw that we had friends in common-her boyfriend and we have she used to work with one of my childhood best friends. Well one night she kept posting stuff on facebook and I could tell that she was depressed and down and she talked about giving up. It was enough to cause concern. So I asked Billy-What's up with her? And he said she was depressed and asked if I talked to her. That she needed a girl friend. I said sure, glad to help.
....Hindsight-I should have kept my thoughts to myself.
ANYWAY, I started to talk to her and she just old me that she was depressed. She was forever in school it seemed, living at home with her parents, raising her daughter etc. She then asked me how I do the friend in common and her boyfriend.
3 AnswersFriends6 years agoLooking for a Cinderella type movie?
I think it was a made for TV movie-but I could be wrong. But it's a Cinderella type story with a twist. I've been searching for what it is called and couldn't find it, but I did find someone else who asked the same question and didn't get any results.
Here's the description of the movie that I took from someone else's question.
All I can remember in the movie is that the father was still alive and the step-mother was trying to poison him. Also, cinderella's fairy godmother, I think, lived in a magic cave of some sort and there was a waterfall in it. She helped cinderella with the gown and everything but no shoes (slippers) She said, "I don't do shoes" or something like that. Outside the castle, cinderella was not allowed in b/c she had no shoes. Upset, she sat by a bush of roses or some type of flowers and the petals fell to her feet, magically turning into shoes. That's all I remember. Please, please help me. Oh yeah, it's not a cartoon and this movie is one of those movies where a small part of it is etched into your brain but you can't remember where it came from. If ANY of the above details even slightly reminds you of a Cinderella-type movie, even if I got everything else wrong except one tiny detail and your idea of what movie this is may seem ridiculous, please tell me.
5 AnswersMovies1 decade agoI am looking for the name of a movie that was a TV made movie sponosored by Kraft and Hallmark?
I can't remember who was in it, all I can see is faces, which I know that really doesn't help me out any. It took place I'd say 1800's ish where there were lots of balls and ladies were ladies type of thing. It was on TV quite a few years ago. Even if you can't tell me the name because I know I am being vague, but where would I look to try and locate it. Thank you
