Is Sharp Objects on HBO worth watching?
3 AnswersDrama2 years agoHow to care for a nose piercing?
So I just got my nose pierced, and basically the guy said to use bactine on it, but didn't go much into detail. I looked online and it said NOT to use antiseptic spray. I went out and bought antibacterial spray that I've been spraying on cotton swabs and swabbing inside and outside my nose. I keep seeing that I should just use antibacterial soap, but I'm afraid that won't be strong enough.
Any personal experiences? Thanks so much!
2 AnswersFashion & Accessories7 years agoHow would someone remove their own fingernail?
First off let me stress that I AM NOT GOING TO ATTEMPT TO DO THIS, so don't worry. This is for a series of short horror stories I'm writing, the first one focusing on body horror. So how would an average person remove a fingernail, other than bamboo shoots? It doesn't matter whether they rip it off or cut it off.
1 AnswerOther - Health7 years agoBest laptops for college?
Hi there! So at the end of the month, I'll be starting my second year of college. I desperately need a new computer, and my dad recently lost his job. What are some good computers that won't break the bank?
Basically, my only requirements are that it has more than one USB port, and a CD port. My mom said our budget should be about $500, which I think should get me what I need. I'll be keeping my old computer for like gaming and stuff probably.
Thank you!

I took pepto bismol yesterday (about 28 hours ago probably) and now my stools are black. Is that a result of the medication?
3 AnswersMedicine7 years agoDocumentaries/Novels NOT about Jewish people in the Holocaust?
Hi there! I'm writing a paper on how disability was treated in the Holocaust and Nazi Germany/German occupied countries. I was wondering if anyone knows of any documentaries or novels about that topic. I have articles, but I'm looking for more of a personal connection.
Please no fictional movies. Thank you!
2 AnswersHistory8 years agoWhere can I get college text books cheaper?
Obviously, college textbooks are ridiculously expensive. I'm looking to get some of the ones that are more expensive for a cheaper price. Are there any websites that do that?
3 AnswersHigher Education (University +)8 years agoI need some books to read?
Hey, I'm 17, and I need some good fiction books. Right now I'm ordering Geography Club. Other books I really like are:
-It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini
-Harry Potter
-The Unidentified
I've already read Twilight and the Hunger Games. Don't like either (I liked the Hunger Games, but couldn't get into the other books).
Anyway, any suggestions?
5 AnswersBooks & Authors8 years agoHow to stop fatigue during my period?
So lately, every time I have my period, I experience extreme fatigue, to the point where I feel I might pass out (I never do, i judt get kind of dizzy) and I just have to go home and sleep. Obviously, this poses some problems. I'm not sure if it's anemia, or just the blood loss by itself, but is there any way to stop such bad fatigue? Certain foods I should eat or things to do?
I don't want to take birth control. I don't feel it's that bad.
3 AnswersWomen's Health8 years agoWould this catagorize as social anxiety or something else?
Lately, I've realized that unless I'm in a small group (about 2 or 3 they all have to be really close friends) I begin to freak out, meaning I begin to tear up and sometimes cry, and I feel extremely inadequate. I feel like people think I'm less than them, and that when they talk to me it's because they feel bad for me, or that they talk to me just because they feel they should include me, not because they actually want to.
Is this social anxiety, or something else?
Also, this has caused me to cut. (Please don't tell me I shouldn't, because I've been trying to stop. I know it's bad, and I I know I should go back to therapy. I'm going to make plans to, especially if I turn out to have some kind of social anxiety)
Other details:
-I'm 17 years old
-I'm diagnosed with OCD and ADHD, and I'm not diagnosed, but I've had problems with depression.
Please help. I'd like to get better.
2 AnswersPsychology8 years agoCan I take aspirin now and then Nyquil in a few hours?
Or should I just wait a few hours and just take the Nyquil?
I'm sick, and I have a head ache and my neck feels stiff, so I was just wondering if it would be OK for me to take some aspirin now. I'm not planning on going to school tomorrow, so I'd be taking Nyquil around 10:30 or 11 (It's 8:30 right now)
Medicine8 years agoCan a big rainstorm affect carrots that are still planted?
Hello! So I've been hesitant to pick my carrots in case they're not done. But we're expecting huge rain storms and even have tornado warnings where I am. It's not currently raining, and I only have like 5 carrots, so if I need to, I'll run out and pick them now.
So basically my question is can the rain affect (effect? sorry, I always have trouble with the difference) them. I'm not actually expecting any tornadoes, because I live at a high-ish altitude, but there might be strong winds.
1 AnswerGarden & Landscape9 years agoWhat is the best movie ever made?
In your opinion. I'm just looking for good movies.
Personally, I think it's either The Silence of the Lambs or the Green Mile.
8 AnswersMovies9 years agoWhat are some good Shojo animes for an older teen?
What I've watched so far is Ouran High School Host Club, which I absolutely loved.
Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (or Haganai)
Hyouka
and I started watching Special A.
I'd prefer something closer to Haganai though. Thanks!
4 AnswersComics & Animation9 years agoWhich version should I watch?
I'm thinking about watching The Wicker Man. Should I watch the new one or the old one?
Also, anyone have any suggestions for good horror movies? Out of the ones I've seen, my favorite is The Silence of the Lambs.
The one that scared me most was Blair Witch Project.
Thank you! ^-^
2 AnswersMovies9 years agoShould I get Sims 3 Ambitions, World Adventures, or Showtime?
I only have enough money to buy one off ebay. Please explain why you think it's better (:
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games9 years agoWhat are some good teen books to read?
Summer's here, so I'm looking for some good books to read!
Here are some of my favorites:
It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini
Harry Potter by JK Rowling
The Unidentified by Rae Mariz
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
I'm not into romance books or things that have too much fantasy. I like for books to have some amount of romance, but it's not the main point. And because it's summer, I don't want anything too heavy. Like nothing really dramatic/depressing.
Oh, and I don't like Twilight, so nothing like that please!
Anyway, any suggestions? ^w^
5 AnswersBooks & Authors9 years agoWhat kind of cookies should I make?
Regular chocolate chip cookies are boring, and so are sugar cookies. I'm also allergic to nuts. I have all the standard cookie ingredients, and I want something with chocolate chips/chocolate.
Any suggestions?
6 AnswersCooking & Recipes9 years agoDoes anyone know what kind of cookies these are?
I used to make them with my grandma.
All I remember is that the way you put the sugar on is you dip the cookie in it/sprinkle it on top of the dough.
They were really good and crunchy. I think they might have just been a type of sugar cookies. Oh, and they were dark brown.
Thank you!! :)
