hello ive an interest in the German Shepherd breed. I recently had to put my dog to sleep as he had the condition of CDRM. He had previously been misdiagnosed with arthritis in march 06 only for it to be discovered in june of that year that he had in fact a spinal disease. My GS was 12 yrs old. I'd like to offer help to others who discover that their pet has the same horrible condition due to my own experience and while my vet told me that my GS had 6 months to live i managed to keep him until July of this yr. I tried various treatments and aids so if i can help email me. Kind Regards

  • faulty bonnet catches on Clio Renaults?

i purchased my clio in 2005 at that time it was 2 yrs old. 2 weeks ago while the car was been serviced by a mechanic and while he was out test driving the car, the bonnet blew up, smashed the windscreen, and the bonnet was mangled. According to a Renault dealer my car was recalled in 2007, i never received any notification and this came as a shock to me when i looked up the internet to discover loads of Clio's with the same problem. Now this has happened to me, what do i do in terms of compensation.

  • parakeets are driving us MAD?

we have 2 parakeets which we purchased as young birds and have had them now for about a yr and half. this past couple of months, they have started to squawk and engage in high pitch shreaking so much so you can hear them outside and across the road. This goes on and on and on all day and into the night. They are well looked after, have toys, bath and drinking water each day. they have a diet of seeds, veg, fruit and nuts and have lots of freedom. The squawking has become so severe i have found myself crying and covering my ears and i feel like they are driving me mad. I went back to the pet shop were we purchased them to see if they would take them back, but to no avail, due to the bird flu they dont sell or deal in birds anymore. Anyone any ideas or suggestions before i go dotty.

  • skip problems?

hello i asked a question on here roughly about 2 months ago ie a skip i hired and had finished with, was failed to be collected by the skip firm when requested on several occasions and other neighbours within the street late at night began to dump their rubbish into it. Skip firm refused to move it stating it was over its limit. I contacted the police who advised me to contact the local council, They are stating its not their problem a skip is seen as a 'bin'. Neighbours keep piling on the rubbish and am really worried as to what it will be like come Christmas. The council informed me if i removed any item and left it in the street i would be prosecuted. I simply am at my wits end and really fed up with this. The skip people would like me to be take out another skip costing over a 100quid to remove other peoples rubbish and that am not happy about. Anyone any further ideas. The skip is so high now with rubbish am afraid it falling out and hitting a car and causing damage.

  • skip problems?

I recently rennovated my home which was well deserved. I ordered a skip to help with the clearance, the skip was slightly over its level and when the lorry driver came to collect it, he did give of but took it away. May I say i had to torture them by phone to come and collect it and the only way i got it removed was to order another one. When the 2nd one was delivered i found almost on a daily basis people were dumping their household rubbish into it as well as rubble at night and now after torturing the company again to have it removed they have refused, saying its over its level and its my responsibility. I had warned the company previously that this was happening but to no avail. Anyone any advice as the skip is still sitting outside my home and has been for almost 2-3 months.
