How do I get the VGA port on my laptop to work?
I have a 4 year old Dell laptop. For the past two years I have had an issue where the VGA port randomly stops working and then randomly starts working an indeterminate time later. For a while I was connected to an external monitor via the VGA port, and the video feed would randomly cut out in the middle of typing in a Word document or surfing the web. Then sometime later (it has remained broken for lengths varying from 1 hour to 3 months) it would just start working again. As far as I can tell, I am not doing anything that is leading to this erratic behavior. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and how I can fix it?
3 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks7 years agoWhat anime most defied your expectations?
Sometimes we don't expect an anime to be very good, but it ends up surprising us and being really great. For me, the most surprising anime was Ouran High School Host Club. I thought it wouldn't be any good, but I ended up loving it. Which anime did you find to be the most unexpectedly good?
11 AnswersComics & Animation8 years agoHow soon I should talk to a recruiter for Navy OCS?
I am currently starting the second semester of my junior year in college. I would like to go to Navy Officer Candidate School after I graduate. I was wondering if anyone knew how early I should contact a recruiter. I plan to graduate in the spring of 2013, and would like to go to OCS fairly soon after my graduation. Please let me know if you have any advice, and where that advice comes from (e.g. sources, personal experience, etc.).
4 AnswersMilitary8 years agoWhy can't you talk on the phone when donating plasma?
My roommate donated plasma for the first time today. When I was asking him about the process, he said that he wasn't allowed to talk on the phone while he was donating. He could text, but he couldn't talk on the phone. Is there a reason for this?
