I am a defendant, and the summons says it's for owed back rent, but I have all receipts to prove rent has been paid. I am being sued for a utility bill that is not in my name. Can the utility bill be considered as rent?

The lease was valid from Nov 2008 - Oct 2009, and I still live here

File married or separate? I paid ~20% of gross salary in fed/state taxes last year. My wife worked 1st half of year, and has been on unemployment from July- current. She elected not to have taxes taken out of the unemployment. We live in NC. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

If this bill passes, do the taxpayers get another stimulus check? If so, how much? That last one ($600) did not help like the government thought it would.

Living together for 13 years and married for 8 has been declared over by my wife. She admitted adultery a couple weeks ago citing "no passion" and "doesn't know what she wants". I have been willing to forgive and seek counseling, but she has no interest. I am able to take care of myself, I am sorry she did not want to rebuild. We will start separating our ties tomorrow. Any words of advice or encouragement? This is really hard for me to deal with.

My wife of 8 years has decided to separate, and it doesn't look good about rebuilding. When I'm ready to start going out again, will other women look at a failed marriage as something that happens, or are most women cautious of men that come out of a relationship like this?

I'm really struggling with my wife separating away from me, and I'm going to see my doctor tomorrow so maybe I can start to sleep and eat regularly again. It's been 10 days, and I'm still massively impacted by this. I have no will to do anything, just wait and see what she is going to do.

My wife of 8 years (been together for 13) has decided to split up. We have 2 cats we have had since birth. They are both 8 years old, spayed and neutered, from the same litter. They are strictly indoor. Since she has left this week, our male has become destructive and the female has become even more lazy. I talk and play with them very often, they just seem to be upset their mother is not here anymore.

YMCA memberships are available at the company I work for, and they are very convenient. Around $10 dollars a week already deducted from the direct deposit. If this option is open to anybody, I highly recommend it. They are great places to get any kind of workout you need.

Mt wife and I are separating, and I can't afford to live where we stay now (apartment) , but I can afford to live somewhere else, I just don't have the funds to actually move. The loan would be strictly for finalizing current utilities and start the process of moving (deposit, switching utilities, etc.). Note my credit is probably not great, but I have a secure job of 5 years and have a sufficient income. I greatly appreciate any advice. This is difficult enough as it is.
