Airborne Infantry

Hello this may be long but I need some opinions and personal experience with questions I have for Australians. Well me and my buddy are both 20 and want to go to Australia for 2 weeks next year. Im really not sure what time of the year. Were both deployed in Iraq and are in the Army. So can you give me some tips on what to do and what not to do. Where to go and visit. Im more into adventurous kinda stuff and I love the outdoors. So I would like to go to the outback, beaches, mountains, and scuba diving. While my friend likes to party, drink, meet women and what not. But I like that too but he takes it to another level. Were not arrogant or loud but being deployed means our alcohol tolerance will be very low. So ill have to watch out. We like to meet new people and my friend says he's always wanted to go there and he thinks your accents are cool I guess. Also should we just not tell people were in the Army and nothing about Iraq, im not sure how you guys are about that. Thank you

Well I been hearing rumors about if your not a sergeant or higher than you cant reenlist. My ETS date is June of 2013 and I joined the Army Jan 2010 with a 3year and 16weeks contract. Being so I doubt I could make sergeant by the time im supposed to get out at least I went to Ranger school and got my tab or sucked a lot of dick which that's not me. So what could I do? and I dont wanna reclass to being a POG id rather get out than do that.

Im in the Army only been in for 18 months, E-3 11B 3yr contract and No college credits. wanted to know what I would have to do to get into the Green to Gold program.

Well I love my life and think it's awesome but I still feel sorta empty. Ive been through a lot of ups and downs and im actually in a good time of life. Its full of discoveries and new experiences. Im in the army now and last week for the first time I jumped out of a plane. Im a adrenaline junkie and I love new things but I still feel like I haven't found what im looking for. I feel like U2's song is the theme of my life lol. It seems like every great achievement ive made isn't good enough even when so many odds were against me growing up. Im kinda a weird person even though no one would actually think so if they met me, but im not sure if that has anything to do with it. The only thing I could possibly think of is Love but im still pretty young cause im only 18. It seems like its the only emotion ive never really had. I mean I love my family but when people describe love of another person it seems incredible. But idk what im babbling about, sorry if i wrote to much. Help me if u can, thanks and peace

Well im mad cause I just made level 5 and I still don't have it. Is it based on a certain level or best answers percentage and if so how much percentage?

Well I haven't been around anyone but my family for about 7 months now. I moved away from all my friends. Im 18 and im technically normal I guess. But I like different and crazy/wacky people. I don't know why. But I cant stand the same old people. I want to meet new people that are different than me in all aspects. Im the kind of person that gets along with almost anyone. I wanna discover different aspects of life from seeing it in other peoples eyes and there life's. I love different cultures and societies I find it very interesting but like I said I have no friends :/ and I live in the middle of nowhere. I mean im about to be in the Army in less than a week. But what can I do after I start my life? Im sure ill change quite a little but I still cant stand normal people lol.

So do you have any advise for me like what I should do and not do at all times. Tips, ect. I also have Airborne school in May and I hate heights lol but im still gonna do it.

Well im a Christian. Gay marriage i don't Support it nor condone it. I believe people should be able to do what they want as long as it doesn't affect other people. But I still don't believe in abortions at all. I guess I would consider myself a conservative but I just wan to know what a libertarian is all about. Might even change to one if it fits me, but I don't want to be a hypocrite or contradict myself.

Well this year was the worst year of my life but 2010 is gonna be awesome. I join the Army next month and ill be jumping out of planes in May. New life, new friends, new home, new everything.

Mine is to have the most awesome and most memorable year of my life, but in a good way lol.

Can you have alcohol in them? Like beer in the fridge?

Can you have women in there? Like have a gf spend the night?

Yes I know these questions are dumb, but just bare with me.

Well first off don't say anything negative and tell me I play to much video games and bs. I just want a straight forward answer and just bare with me on these questions. I go to BCT Jan 26th for 11X Infantry in the Army and I got Airborne School May 24th. So ill probably be assigned to my unit in June. So can you volunteer to go to Afghanistan? Also do you know what Infantry Division's are going to be deployed. I know 101st is cause I seen it on the news and my dads a 1sgt and he old me his old unit from Ft. Campbell is going to deploy. I also have a friend that's a Calvary Scout and he's stationed at Ft. Hood and he's deploying in Jan of 2011. I would rather rather be stationed with 82nd Airborne Division. Because ive lived near Ft. Campbell and I cant stand Clarksville. I know they usually tell you were you will be stationed at during AIT, so do you know what place I could have a good chance at.

Well me and my ex broke up in June and we met each other in feb. We both liked each other very much but didn't get to the I love you part because I ended up moving to a diff state. But since then we still talk on the computer and text and what not every once in a while. She actually told me that im perfect in every way, and I think she just thinks that because she hasn't had a bf as good as me because her bf before me was a duesh bag and they dated for like 2yrs. We always IM each other and that's when she told me. She always says she wishes I never moved and things could have worked out. She also told me I love you on facebook but I haven't written back. Ive never been in love and came close once but she ended up cheating on me so im very protective of myself. I don't trust women very easy, so I don't know what to think about that. I really like her and could even see myself marrying her some day. But I don't love her yet. Im gonna see her again after I graduate basic training for the army and will see her from april-june next year. I told her she could come and visit me after i get settled down and find out were ill be stationed at, and she said she defiantly will. So what do you think about it and what should I say back about her loving me. Im not ready to tell her I love her but I don't wanna hurt her feelings.

For me I wanna be a special forces soldier. Get a master degree in International Relations and a bachelors in Petroleum Engineering. Travel the world, get a wife and have no more than 2 kids, then retire and live to 108. So what about you?

Egyptians, chain of Portuguese and spaniard islands that are considered Africa, and the arabic countries in Africa. If your from anyone of these countries and are a American citizen are you considered African American?

I plan on going into the Army in Jan and possibly special forces someday. But I always change my mind on things. Like some days I plan my life out to be a General, or to travel the world for the rest of my life, or to help undeveloped countries and people that need help. But I still don't know how my life is going to end up and no one does. So what greatness do you think you may be apart of?

I know it covers all the country's I want to go to like Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, and Germany. I plan on buying the youth one for 30 days. But how does it work? Does it cover every train in those designated countries? Or certain train company's or what? Will any train take you to any city that you want, including going to a different country? Me and a couple friends are gonna go on a Euro trip and I would like to know what city or town is a must see. We plan on staying there anywhere from 2-5 days. I was looking at places like Burn, Luzon, Zurich, etc. Were looking to have a good time. Drinking, meeting people, beautiful scenery's, mountains, women, history/culture, etc.
