I've completed the mission but how do I get all of my items back!? They confiscated them at the start of the mission.

x + 2y = 1

2y^2 + 3xy +1 = 0

The area of a rectangle is 2 square units

The height is X

The width is x/2 + 4

Find the length of each side in surd form.

I've got the equation x(x/2 +4) = 2

Which multiplies out to be x^2/4 + 4x = 2 but after this I seem to go wrong somewhere.

A parabola has a vertex with co-ordinates (-4,1) and goes through the point (2,-17)

Find the equation of the parabola in the form y= ax^2 + bx +c

Can someone tell me what to do? I don't need an answer for the equation, just an explanation.

I don't necessarily want the answer, just an explanation how to do it. :)

Determine the values of K for which the quadratic equation :

x^2 + 3(K-2)x + (K+5) = 0 has equal roots.

Now I have a load of stretch marks on my butt, how do I get rid of them? and how do I stop more stretch marks appearing as I continue to gain weight?

I would really, really like to do biology but the thing is I don't like anyone that will be in the class, and biology involves a lot of group practical work. This is a big problem because every time I have had a class with people I don't like, I've hated it. If I choose history, which I like, but not as much I have many friends in there which I would have more fun with.

Although I hate him, I feel 30 years is long enough. If it had been a non famous person he shot he would have been out years ago.

O.k, here's the situation. My girlfriend doesn't want to have sex until she is 18, (she's 16 currently) I completely respect this but I want to try and convince her. If she still doesn't want to after I try persuade her I wont ask again as she is the best thing to happen to me.

Do you guys have any advice for me? I don't want to force or pressure her into it or anything.

I have asked her many times, she replies "buy it and cook it yourself."

I think she likes the idea of healthy eating but she can't be bothered to cook it or buy fresh meat or vegetables.

I'm only 16 so I can't give huge amounts but I want to give to people who need the money I earn more than I do, help would be greatly appreciated!

I went into a library and saw a book in the non-fiction section, I told the worker that it should belong in the fiction section and she kicked me out. Care to explain why she did this?
