I have 3 dogs. My first dog that was housebroken started pottying in the house little by little, including on the bed. Since I got the third dog it's constant. I don't know if she is acting out or if she is having a medical problem. I'm leaning towards acting out. How do I correct this problem? I take her out every 2 hours, but it's hard in the middle of the night. I also praise her when she potty's outside. I block off her access in the house only giving her limited places that she can roam about. I've put her on a lease in the house also limiting her access. I tell her to go outside (I have doggie doors) when she goes down the hallway or gets off of the bed. She knows that she is doing something wrong, but she does it anyway. I've heard that punishing them doesn't work. I'm at my wits end. Professional feedback would also be welcome.

I realize that there are pills he can take but he doesn't want to purchase them. I bought him some in the past online but I'm not sure if they were good or if they even worked. By the way I'm a woman asking men this question because I know you'll understand his position. I'm stuck!

I bought my first Yorkie puppy dog. I have a couple questions about their ears and tail. Why do some Yorkies have ears that stand up and some don't? Do their ears get clipped or something before they are adopted out? Are their tails clipped down to a stub before they are adopted out? My Yorkie's ears don't stand up and her tail is just a little stub.

I just got an 8 week old Yorkie. I already have a 4 year old Maltese. My Maltese doesn't seem thrilled about having a new puppy around, but I'm sure she will adapt.

The problem I'm having is that my Maltese is now starting to go potty in the house even though she is fully housebroken. She sees that the puppy has done and thinks it must be ok, or it could just be her acting out. She also eats the puppy's food even though they are basically eating the same thing.

I try to give my older dog special attention, but the puppy also wants and needs attention. For example, I'll give my older dog a belly rub but the puppy comes around so I start rubbing her belly too. I have both arms going. I also hold and pet my adult dog to give her attention and to get a break from the puppy jumping on her.

They play a little, but I can tell my older dog puts the puppy in it's place. I'm ok with that. The puppy has to learn to behave around my adult dog and who better to teach her that than the dog she is terrorizing.

Has anyone ever had these type of problems? I'm most worried about the pottying in the house issue.
