  • Who are some good, witty, English authors?

I prefer mid-late 20th century literature on, and I really like authors that are witty, preferably English. Some of my favorites are Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, and Douglass Adams. I like sci fi, but it doesn't have to be sci fi. Who are some other authors with similar styles?

  • Is it better to have your camera overexposed or underexposed?

Assuming that I'm shooting in a place where I can't possibly get a perfect exposure, would it be better if it was too dark or too bright? I had a boss (he owned a videography company) tell me that it was better if the picutre was a little darker because there was less detail loss that way. I've also heard that it's better if it's brighter because it is easier to darken in post without losing picture quality. What do you think?

  • I'm having Milk problems, what could it be?

Whenever I drink a glass of milk my throat feels really thick when I swallow, kind of like it's swollen. (I don't have any breathing problems, it only happens when I swallow). I get really thick saliva too, that is hard to swallow and just... thick and goopy. (Sorry that's gross lol). I'm not lactose intolerant, I have no problems with yogurt, ice cream, butter, or any other milk product. I had colic when I was a baby, which might be a factor, but I just don't know. Do you have any idea what could be wrong? Thanks!

  • How do you make a butter-like spread out of butternut squash?

I saw an episode of "You Are What You Eat" on BBC America a while back. The guy on the show ate ridiculous amounts of butter, and Gillian made him a spread out of butternut squash. I'm having a hard time finding a recipe for it. Does anyone know how to make butternut squash butter spread? Thanks!

  • What should I name my production company?

I'm starting a production company specializing in corporate videos. I'm having a hard time thinking of a name for the company. It can't be something silly because of the type of clients I have. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

  • The Triplets of Belleville: How do you pronounce Belleville?

I've been pronouncing it like it sounds, but one of the songs in the movie sounds a lot like Bellview. I don't know a lot about French Pronunciations. Does anyone know?

  • She's cheating on him, would you tell?

I know someone who is cheating on her husband with his best friend, and did with his brother a couple times. She started cheating before they were married. I don't really know the husband that well, but I've met him a few times. I think it's really awful that she's doing this to the poor guy, he has no clue. Should I betray my friend and tell him, or keep my mouth shut? What would you do?

  • What are the risks of getting a cheek piercing?

I'm not a stranger to piercing, so I know the standard care procedures, and the risks that come with any piercing (infection, hepatitis, etc.). I was just contemplating a cheek piercing and wondering if anyone knew what other risks were involved.
