I have just recently figured out how to put video's up on youtube. But this most recent video I have is very slow, and long. Is there a way that I can fast forward the vid?

Laveau, my 4 month old redtail has not passed the last three mice (three feedings in three weeks). She is getting large, not bloated, and she just had a great shed... She would normally poo directly after the shed, but this time she hasn't. I've been soaking her 15 minutes twice daily in tepid-warm water. Though this helped her shed, she has STILL not defecated. Is there any explanation for this. I was thinking maybe she went into hybrenation with out me knowing, but she hasn't been showing typical signs of it. Is there another remedy other than soaking that will help to move her bowls?

SETUP 10 gallon aquarium (upgrade soon) Heat light on during the day above warm moist stone hide used as basking spot. Heat pad on medium day and night. Water bowl plenty large enough for her to soak in. I feed in a separate area, and soak in a separate area.

Thank you for your response, she's really a great snake. And at the moment, I don't have the money to take her to the vet, but if this problem persists, I will regardless of my financial situation.

I used to be able to sit and write for hours on end. When I got pregnant over two years ago, I stopped writing as much. And now when I try... I can write the first few lines like the old days, but the rest just doesn't come to me...

This includes poetry, journals, short stories, and my book. This is an obstical I've been trying to overcome for two years now!

Is it a lack of inspiration? Or do I not have the writers touch any longer?.....

I walked outside to see to people near my car. They quickly left the property when they saw me coming outside. I'm sure they were under 18. I didn't take action because I was under the impression that they were just walking down the sidewalk playfully. When I later inspected the car, the rear windshield wiper was jammed sticking straight out. We removed it from the car, and have had no luck fixing it...

The people live next door. What should I do?

I have been trying to breed mice because I would have to drive 50 miles away to get them each week. I have two females and one male, they have been living together for three weeks, and neither of the females are obviously pregnant. Should I get rid of the male, and use a different one? Or do the females get really fat in they're last week of pregnancy. I'm stumped.

We have almost finished building a new terrarium for our baby redtail. The day is soon aproaching where she will be way to large for her 10 gallon tank. She's two feet, and growing fast!

Anywho The bottom of this cage needs to be sanded really well before I will trust her to slither on it. Would it be fine to line the bottom with newspaper with a thin layer of reptibark or aspen? When I can afford it I will buy some plexiglass to lay in the bottom, to assure all the wood is covered, but until then is newspaper ok.

And also do you think the enclosure will stress her out. I've heard some people say that having too much spaces stresses them out also. The dimensions are 77"Lx24"Wx24"H, And the snake is two feet long. My original plan was to have a divider in the middle and only give her half, but if I could skip that step, we could have it done sooner.

I have a small metal shed in the back yard, with a door. Could they live during the winter? The door completely blocks out the wind. I live in Texas, so it doesn't get too terribly cold, but it'll easily get down in the thirties and forties, I'm sure.

During the summer it gets well into the hundreds, but I wouldn't have a problem putting a fan in the shed, and also my back yard is in the shade 90% of the time.

So I'm breeding some mice. And I've heard that in some situations, the male father mouse will actually help with the female to take care of the babies. Just wondering if that is possible or even true.

The male father mouse is very protective of the females after they have mated... so do you think (if it's true) that he'll make a good dad?

You have no idea how hard I've been working my butt off trying to find a job! I got laid off with no chance to even begin to look for a job. I've applied everywhere in this little hick town, and I've applied up to 50 miles away, at least 20 places... so don't tell me to get a job!

I was recently visiting with my breeder. I was very pleased to let her know that my snake had taken to frozen. And she informed me that if I ever wanted to breed her, that I'd have to put her back on live.

"If you ever want your snake to breed, she'll need to eat live food, because if she doesn't build up her muscles that she gets from constricting and killing her prey, she won't have the muscles to give birth. And if they don't give birth, the eggs will rot inside of her, and she will most likely die."

I had no clue, but I wanted some second opinions, or facts anyway. Has anybody fed frozen and had no problems?

I wont be breeding for several years, but I just wanted to get my facts straight.

I'll be getting a Mexican king snake when my breeder has another clutch. And I was going to buy it along with a California king snake. Would I be able to breed the two. They are both king snakes, so I should, but I can't find results for the offspring of the two? If you find a pic please post it.

(I don't need any tips about snakes, I've handled them for years)
