Am I the only one who understands that it SHOULD be risky to kill your child?
If women don't have access to safe abortions, they will turn to risky ways and it will be bad for them. Wouldn't that serve them right? If you don't want to die.... don't kill.
You don't get to decide when a life counts as human/valuable. Just because the fetus is dependant doesn't mean it's disposable. You think it suddenly becomes valuable at late term? Because that's senseless.
4 AnswersPolitics4 years agoWhy do people think it's OK to be shallow if you call it "preference"?
These phrases: "I only date tall guys" or "I only date white people" or "I don't date fat girls" are all defended, as if it's OK because it's just a "preference". Yeah it's a preference. A preference based on looks, which IS shallow.
Feelings depend on looks for shallow people only. That's really simple but people want society to accept shallow behavior so they don't have to change or feel bad.
It's like an echo chamber. People who can't think for themselves continuously repeat "oh it's fine to only like people with perfect elbows (or anything about looks) because... PREFERENCE" because that's what they've heard other people say. How exactly does that make it fine?

An Indian guy commented "Merry Christmas dear" on a Facebook picture and I barely know him.

1 AnswerClassical5 years agoTheists, shouldn't The Lord's Prayer not be repeated all the time? "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do"?
That's right before the Lord's Prayer in Matthew. "After this manner therefore pray ye" It doesn't say use the exact words.
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality5 years agoWhich of these 3 attitudes is most like you?
If you had to pick.
1. Coward: afraid to face new truth
2. Lazy: content with half truth
3. Arrogant: think you know all truth
I think most people are #2 but I'm not sure.

4 AnswersPolls & Surveys5 years agoWhat if someone forced you to hold a huge rock over a baby. Is it OK to drop it?
I mean, you didn't ask for the responsibility of the baby's life and it's hard work to hold the heavy rock.
(Assuming the baby would die)

2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality5 years agoDoes anyone else realize that when an immoral thing is hard to fight people decide it's acceptable?
That way they don't have to better themselves internally. Things people don't admit are wrong because it's just easier: lust, caring about appearance, putting yourself first.
Lust blocks deep/spiritual feelings/connections. Caring about appearance at all is shallow because it's meaningless.
3 AnswersPolls & Surveys5 years agoDid you know there are consequences for reporting questions?
Two of my questions got deleted yesterday and I appealed them both. The appeals were accepted and it said the person who reported will now have less influence in their reports in the future. Take that reporters.
