In its enitirity, it is a long story, so I will give a quick summary. So there is this girl named Emma who I am 1/2 friends with (not BFF but more than aqaintances.) I asked her out to see a movie and, because of her mother not being too happy about her dating, we decided to see if after vacation, when there would be less stress. 1-2 weeks go by and long story short I find out she is low-key dating a guy named Tom. After talking with her about our date, I found out there was a communication gap and she did not realize that I asked her on a date. She then friend zoned me. In school, I have avoided eye contact with her and only asked her one question( it pertained only to a teacher being In class or not ). I am not mad at her nor Tom, but I just feel really crappy now, considering I though we would be dating soon. Any advice?

Hello, so long story short I asked this girl who I'm 3/4 a friend with to see a show with me on Saturday. (I have been in like with her for about 2-3 months). She ended up saying no because she was seeing the same show on Friday with one of her other guy friends. I don't know if they are dating, but I'm not sure if the girl I like realized I wanted to date her. I don't think anything is awkward between us, but I couple be oblivious.
