  • How do I transfer photos from my phone to my computer?

I have a QWERTY Samsung phone - a Samsung B3210 Genio. It did not come with a USB cable or CD software, but I have managed to get a USB for it.

I plugged the phone into my computer and it has done nothing. The phone comes up as Removable Disk (F:) but when I click on it it says "Please insert a disk into removable disk." So I cannot transfer the photos that way.

I also cannot send the pictures through e-mail because it doesn't work.

I have also tried sending the pictures via bluetooth to my new phone (iPhone 5) but the iPhone does not pick up the Samsung B3210 Genio so I can't transfer pictures that way.

I have also tried to connect the phone to my laptops Bluetooth but that hasn't worked either.

I'm really hoping that you can help me out because I have some really sentimental pictures on my phone that I would love to have printed but can't seem to get them onto my computer.

    Thanks

  • How do I open this Windows Movie Maker file?

My friend and I are making a music video for Media class and we used Windows Movie Maker... We hadn't finished the video so we saved the project file and I said I would work on it at home to I sent it to my e-mail address.

The file shows up on my computer as a Windows Movie Maker Project file but the file size is 0 bytes and when I open it, WMM tells me that the file is not a valid Windows Movie Maker file...

    Help?

  • Are the swollen glands in my head dangerous?

I've had a swollen gland (about 1-2cm in size) in the lower part of my head on the left side for nearly 3 years. It doesn't hurt and isn't completely hard it does move. Sometimes it gives me head aches. I saw the doctor when I first noticed it and he said it should go down within a couple of weeks... 3 years ago.

I have 2 cuts on my scalp and I have had them the same amount of time. I still have them because I keep picking them. I can't stop myself, it's a bit OCD to be honest. Is the swollen gland caused by my picking of the cuts constantly? Would it go away if I stopped picking my cuts or could the gland be more dangerous since it's been swollen for so long?

  • How do I return extremely overdue library books?

I have 3 books that I took out from the library... nearly 6 years ago!!!! I'm moving house and came a cross them when packing up my room. How do I go back and return them without making it awkward? I would like to get rid of them because my tastes in books have changed (I was 11 when I borrowed them), and I would like start using the library again, but I'm sure they won't let me take out books if there are 3 already 6 years overdue! Any suggestion or help would be great! :)

  • Are My Grades Good Enough?

I was one of the thousands that got their GCSE results last week. This is how they stand.

    English - A*

    English Lit. - A

    Maths - B

    Additional Maths - D

    French - A

    German - A

    Religious Studies - D

    Business Studies - B

    ICT (short course) - A*

    Double Award Science - B/B

Are these grades good? My parents have been going on at me since I got them that they are just "alright" and haven't really congratulated me at all, and I'm finding it difficult to be happy with them, even though they firmly secured me a place into Sixth Form.

Also, it's making me doubt that they are good enough if universities look at them. What if they think that I have little determination because I didn't achieve better grades?

I'm not trying to make excuses but I have never been good at Maths and Additional Maths was the hardest thing I have ever done. I thought it was good that I didn't get a U! haha! Also, Religous Studies have also been very tricky for me, I'm just not interested and obviously it showed in my results.

But what do I do? I can't seem to get myself into thinking I did well and that I should be happy. Plus, my parents are making me feel so guilty that I didn't do better. I feel like I've messed this up so bad.

Thank you to anyone who read this! :)
