I want to get some (or one) ghost shrimp. I also have a 5 gallon tank with a betta. Is it ok to put a ghost shrimp in the tank or should I get a new tank? If so, what temperature should I keep the tank at and how big should it be? Thanks!

I have a 5.5 gallon tank with a male betta. I turn on the light when it gets dark where he is and turn the light off when I go to bed. I have seen him go into his floating betta log when I turn off the light, so I assumed it is ok, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks :)

I will be getting a miniature or toy poodle OR a shih tzu, not sure if a boy or girl. Saying some names for each breed or some names for both breeds would be helpful! Thnx!

I have considered a yorkie, shih tzu or poodle, but I know there are more breeds that I can get. Here is what I want:

-Moderatly playfull

-MUST be hypoallergenic

-Has a long life

-Small in size

-Likes being around people

I have a bungalo and the dog will be walked either once a day (long walk) or twice a day (shorter walks). The yard is a good size and he/she will have space for running around. I will be home all day (other than shopping, going out, etc.), and I LOVE dogs and will spend lots of time with him or her. Thanks :)

I just got my male betta yesterday and hes at the bottom of the tank, looks like hes not breathing. Maybe new tank shock...?

My male betta has parasites (most likely got them in the store before we got him, I keep the water very clean) and I got him medicine from the pet store. He was scratching himself on the rocks and he has unusual swimming patterns. he is in a 1.5 gallon bowl with a small heater.

My question is will he survive? I hope so :(

I am feeding him betta pebbles and he is spitting them out. He only ate 2 whole pebbles and he doesn't look very healthy, either. He got a small scratch yesterday on a tank decoration around his eye/head (not bleeding, just small 2 white marks) , and i don't know if it has anything to do with my fish not eating. The water in his 1 and a half gallon tank is about room 73 degrees and we are getting a heater later on today, but we put a lamp next to his tank to see if that would help. I am a first-time betta owner, so I'm new to this. Thanks! :)

I just got him today and he cut himself on his head on a Spongebob pinapple decoration. Will he survive and should i do anything about it?
