I'd like to know some brief practical applications for the PID controllers. I understand the theory behind it and how it works, but don't see how it could be practically implemented in industry or real ife applications.

My friend speaks fluent Spanish and she wanted to go for Middle Eastern studies in Spain. The problem is, she can't find the major in many universities. She only found it in the university of Barcelona, and it happened to be taught in Catalan not Spanish.

Could anyone give me the names of universities that offer this major, if there is any? Thanks in advance :)

In a BJT transistor which has either an npn or pnp structure, it seems to me that the part responsible for the whole amplification process is the emitter-base junction, which when forward biased acts as a diode and therefore the current increases exponentially in it.

The question is, why do we need the collector-base junction? Why is it necessary?

I've got some videos and I do have their .srt subtitle files. I want to hard-print the subtitles into the video so that it is always fixed in it even without the srt file. Any idea of how to do that, or which software can I use for it?

They seem to be quite similar to me and rather interchangeable, but I'm sure there's a fine difference that I can't figure out. I'd appreciate any help :)

I just keep hearing that Felix could break the Newtonian physics laws by his jump. Which laws exactly do people mean? Did he really exceed the speed of sound? Was there some physics theory that suggested human's inability to break the barrier of sound??

Supposing two springs are aligned in series, with a mass at the end...Why is it taken for granted that each spring exerts the same force on the mass?!

Anyway, The question is, if you could tell something to her family and child, what would you say? and what's your opinion about the widespread of Islamophobia? Do you think it exists or not? And if yes, who is blamed for it?

I got my Ipad synchronized with iTunes on a laptop but I want to change that and synchronize it with an other...anyway it tells me that it's gonna delete all that I've added on my Ipad. Will it delete only music files and photos or everything including the applications I downloaded and purchased?! Thanks in advance!
