Have other countries changed their national anthem before?
Canada wants to change a single word in the national anthem to be "gender neutral". So I'm wondering if any other countries have also changed their national anthem for any reason in recent history?

Because I felt really silly.

2 AnswersBiology4 years agoDo you believe homosexuality is natural?
Explain why you believe it is natural. Is it because there is a "gay gene" or because it is displayed in animals?
If it's because you believe there's a gay gene, do you believe that individual animals also have the gay gene?
If it's because animals show homosexual behavior, do you believe that it is inherent in all of the human race as it is in species of animals who are most likely to display homosexual behavior?
Or maybe it's both?

10 AnswersPolls & Surveys5 years agoWhat do you think about Germany's plans on how to combat "homophobia"?
Article- https://www.rt.com/news/347530-germany-sex-educati...
Specifically, their plan is to introduce 14 year olds to S&M (Sadism and Masochism), dildos, anal sex, and also dark rooms, through "theatrical performances", lectures, and workshops- to combat homophobia.
So I have two questions:
1. Have you heard about this?
2. And what is your reaction?
7 AnswersPolls & Surveys5 years agoWhat do you think "homophobe" means?
Technically, "homophobia" means an extreme and irrational fear of homosexuals.
However, the modern day interpretation of "homophobia" is "negative attitudes" (according to Wikipedia).
But I think the word has transcended into meaning "fear of being a homosexual", which is how many people use the term.
What do you think?
PS. An interesting tidbit, the term "homophobia" was first seen in print in a porn mag.
8 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender5 years agoWho else thinks Canada is hypocritical for allowing doctor-assisted suicide- and then "help" with the current national suicide epidemic?
If Canada really wanted to help, then they'd know what "sending mixed signals" meant.
4 AnswersHomework Help5 years agoDo you understand the argument "God hates figs"?
So I'm pretty much asking, do any of you actually understand this argument "God hates figs"?
The curse of the fig tree is found in Matthew 21:18-22. and the parable of the fig tree is found in Luke 13:6-9.
The fig tree does not represent good and bad fruit, but rather, the fig tree has consistently represented the nation of Israel.
6 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender5 years agoIs there a way I can see my comments on Yahoo News articles?
I used to be able to see my previous comments on the "My Comments" tab, but it is no longer there.
When I try to find my comment history, instead of the article name it is called "Auto Created Title" where it only takes me to the front page.
If I got banned, is there a way I can try to appeal that ban?
3 AnswersOther - Yahoo Products5 years agoWas the argument "love is love" created by the LGBT movement, or was it already a common argument before?
I've seen this argument mainy used by the LGBT- the odd example is sometimes for something unusual like a relationship between a young woman and older man- but I'm just wondering if this argument has roots somewhere, when was it created and when did it gain popularity?
3 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender5 years agoWhere in the Book of Law does it say that the Christ would remain forever?
In John 12:34, the crowd says to Jesus that in the Book of Law it says that the Christ would remain forever, however I can only find this reference elsewhere other than the Law, so I'm wondering if they meant tanakh?
John 12:34
The crowd then answered Him, "We have heard out of the Law that the Christ is to remain forever; and how can You say, 'The Son of Man must be lifted up'? Who is this Son of Man?"

2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality5 years agoLeft-handed people, are you fine having been compared to gays?
The commonly used argument for homosexuality is that it's the same as being left-handed, unchangeable and natural. Which is kinda funny because your dominant hand can be switched with some work, as many people have done. It's not a very good comparison, but I wonder what some of you might think about this.
6 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender7 years agoIn the Yahoo! Answers LGBT Section, how many questions are from kids?
Isn't anyone else concerned how the people here deal with sex as if it's just some tool? Most of these questions relating to sex are mostly- of not all- from children and teens. Educate and help them, don't encourage strange junk and confuse them further.
Am I the only one that sees this?
