My momma dog had pups 7 weeks ago. The puppies have been given to good homes as of yesterday. She is still lactating. Is there something that I am supposed to do for her? Is this a natural process for dogs. If so, can you tell me what to expect or what I need to do ? I have noticed that they are trying to get hard.

I'm not familiar with anything concerning blood count levels. Can anyone tell me what is a normal range in children when it comes to platelet levels. Is 28 too low? At the age of two.

I have a nephew that wakes up with bruises on the areas, that we think he is putting the most pressure on while he sleeps. Does anyone know what this might be? The bruising is very ugly, but fades away fairly quickly within a day. Not like normal bruising, like when I bump into something. The bruises don't change colors either like normal bruising. They are ugly black then fade to nothing.

I have started trying to lose weight by cutting out all drinks but water and an occassional glass of 2% milk with dinner. Cutting my portion intake and cooking healthier meals. My family has also started walking nightly after dinner. At a good pace to start and then kicking it up a notch on the last stretch to home. I would also like to try a diet pill to get things moving but I'm worried about getting one that could potentially harm me in some way. Also one that doesn't cost a fortune in the store. I would greatly appreciate anyones input with this.

She just had them this morning and I really want to wash the blankets that were used. The question is, can I move them all off of the blankets or will this bother her by taking away their scent or something?
