I've seen multiple people/stores on ebay selling knockoff designer accessories such as handbags and jewelry. I know that ebay has a huge policy against this...so why do they get away with it? Is it because they list it as "designer inspired"? Even though tags/logos/names are all clearly labeled.

I currently reside in MA where I have lived all of my life. I'm about to graduate college in May. My boyfriend just got his orders to be stationed at the coast guard base in Elizabeth City, NC. I'm trying to do research on what to do for jobs down there. I plan on working as a DJ, club/event promoter, broadcasting, basically anything involving music. Could anyone from the area help me with some steps to go in this direction? I've never been.

I can't get my mic to make noise. I use it with a Numark NS7 set up and don't know why it won't make a sound.

I recently bought a webcam off the internet and unfortunatly the picture online didn't show the webcam plugged in or anything just the cords and stuff. So now I have the webcam with one end with a USB plug and the other with a little headphone jack for the microphone. They are connected on a splitter which unfortunatly retsricts how far both can go, and my usb and mic outlets are both at opposite ends of my laptop. I tried one of those USB Hubs (like the one that comes with Rock Band) but only the mic would work. My point is that I can only either get the camera or the mic and I need both.

Is there some sort of little extra cable that would plug into a microphone jack to connect it to the actual micorphone outlet?

That's a picture of a jacket I just won on ebay. Its a large and is meant to fit nicely on someone who is 175-180 lbs. I'm about 130 and was wondering if this type of jacket could be sized. The owner said they didn't believe it could be because of the material. I don't believe its leather however. Thanks.

I have a radio show and during each show, I have to type up an online playlist to post on the website. Included in this playlist needs to be the album the song was on and the label the album was released on. Its very difficult to look up this info quickly while trying to run a radio show. Does anyone have a good idea about how to go about doing this in a timely fashion?

I often see people on craigslist and facebook/myspace marketplace advertisting knock off purses, even though it is against the regulations stated by those sites. Ebay is also against it, but they're really hardcore in regulating their site. Is there any way to sell products like this legally (I live on a college campus in MA if that helps)? Don't scold the question, I'm really just curious about it.

In your opinion what was one of the biggest flops for a highly anticpated newcommer in rap? Like when you have all these big name rappers saying "oh I just signed this new rap act, they're going to be the next so & so". So this new act does a bunch of mixtapes, has a ton of guest appearances on the big name artist's album, leaks a single and then....nothing. No album, no word of anything. They vanish.

My question is which newcommer in your opinion was the biggest flop?

Also, a little sub question...which artist did you think would fail miserably when they first came out, but were hot, stayed current, released good albums etc?

Next summer, I'm thinking about trading my car in and getting a motorcycle. I know I want a sport-type bike (crotch rocket), however I don't know where to begin. I don't want anything over the top crazy, just a sweet bike with decent speed and power but nothing that will kill me just by sitting on it.

I also need some room to carry things. Is there anyway to create trunk space on a bike? Thanks

Now a days, everyone is so hyped up about new Dr Dre stuff, esp Detox. But was there as much hype for the Chronic? I mean before the release of any music, like before people knew or heard any of the songs on it. People today would buy a Dre album just because its Dre, but was there this much excitment before? I was born in '90 so I obviously can't remeber, but to me, I wouldn't have been all that excited for it. I mean one of the weaker rappers in NWA who mostly produces and has Ice Cube write his rhymes comming out with a solo album doesn't sound all that great to me. Its like Diddy putting out albums...people don't really like Diddy, but the cameos and songs are pretty good. Was that like how people expected the chronic to be, was it a total mystery like Detox, or was it expected to be an NWA repeat? Thanks for the insight, just a little curious.

If a person is 21 but still has a vertical liscense that doesn't expire until 2013...would they still be able to purchase alcohol from liquor stores and get into bars/clubs? Or would there be some sort of hassle/denial?

than who writes his "freestyles"? I'm serious. In the past week Bow Wow has released a Set It Off freestyle and (you guessed it) A Millie freestyle. Now I assume it took him a minute to get a verse for A Millie, and thats why he's so behind on that, but honestly what does he expect? They're not very good verses either might I add. So does he really rap, or is a ghost writer to blame?

Is there anyway to tell if a piece of jewlery is real Gold or silver vs gold/silver plated or some other cheap metal (besides going to the jewlery store)? I'm selling a few bracelets/necklaces on Ebay that I don't really wear and don't want dissatisfied customers. I'll give you the run down on some of the stuff:

1. A silver-looking punk-type bracelet from Hot topic with the balls (wore it forever, still has no tarnish)

2. A Tiffany style bracelet with a lock instead of a heart but same sort of design. The lock is from a diary, however I believe the bracelet is real (again worn all the time, no tarnish)

3. A gold-looking bracelet with Egyptian charms from a specialty store at an outlet mall (worn once, so tarnish isn't visible)

4. A Baseball charm bracelet, which appears to be silver. Was worn constantly, no tarnish

If anyone has an idea how to check for types of metals, please let me know, or any tips for cleaning these peices. Thanks!

I'm going to be a freshman this fall at Umass Amherst. I was just curious as to if there are any trains that run East to West across Massachusetts or, on a bigger scale, New England. I know there are trains that run north to south, but my boyfriend/family would be to the east of my school. Even a train to Boston/Framingham/Kingston etc from somewhere near Amherst would be better then bumming rides or paying $40 for a bus fare. If anyone can supply me with a map or a website, anything, that'd be great. I've tried searching for this before but came up empty handed. Even if its a bunch of stops in between, I don't mind.

I'm going to be a freshman in college this comming year and plan to join the radio station at my school. I'm hoping to eventually do this professionally and had my own show at my high school station as well. My friend has her own show as a local community college and was talking to me about this program that her school had for the radio station, but she couldn't remeber the name of it. She thought it was Adobe something but could be wrong. Can anyone give me an idea of what program she might be referring to? We didn't use computers at all at my hs station and I want to be a step ahead when I join the new station.

Why is it that Booty Bass and music like that from back in the day (stuff made popular by 2 Live Crew, Gucci Crew II & Posion Clan) began down south? Everyone always talks about how south music is more club oriented compared to other areasand what not, but what would've happened if this music began in NY or LA? I'm curious as to why each area out of the main 3 (East, West, South) sound sounded so different at their origins. I understand that there are different legends, but the first artists out of each area, why did they sound so different from other areas with nothing to compare themselves to?
