  • Short-story feedback and constructive criticism?

It's for my A-level English Literature coursework, it's only my first draft but I want different opinions on it and how I can improve it to get the best grade possible.

  • Cornish Tors?

I'm writing a story and the main character is murdered in the Bodmin Moor, Cornwall. I was wondering if it was possible to suffer a pretty horrific death from falling from the top of one of the tors (or being pushed)? I haven't been before, but I've been told there is a lot of granite. I know it's gruesome, but would a fall cause protrusive bones, snapped necks etc.? If so, which tor? Thanks! Sorry is horrible haha

Would v-necks look good on me?

I have quite broad shoulders and big boobs, some websites say v-necks are great for curvy ladies but not great on women with broad shoulders. I'm asking because I'm thinking of buying this dress and it has a v-neck.

  • How to lose shoulder muscle?

I m a girl and the only exercise I do is my hour long walk to school and back, at the end of the day up a huge hill, so it makes sense that my legs are pretty toned. But my shoulders? I don t swim, or do anything that particularly requires heavy lifting other than carrying my satchel, so I m really confused as to why I have quite a bit of muscle there. I ve don e abit of research and it seems to be the trapezius muscle on the top which makes my shoulders look very broad, but I don t have a muscular back :/

In terms of losing muscle everyone seems to say lessen its usage, so stop running if you think your legs are too muscly etc. but I don t do any shoulder exercises so idk how to lessen them :/ it s not a huge issue; I have quite good body confidence, I d just rather have less broad shoulders haha

    Thank you very much :)

  • Why do guys have short hair?

I was just thinking about it and it's actually a bit weird. From a historical point of view, I can imagine long hair would get in the way for the working man, when it was less common for women to do manual labour, but there's no practical reason why guys shouldn't have long hair. And I'm not on about Justin Bieber long, I'm on about long long.

My friend has gorgeous blonde hair that reaches down to the small of his back, he's not camp or particularly feminine but he loves having long hair, and wouldn't dream of cutting it. It just seems a shame to me to cut hair short if it's beautiful like his. I just think it's weird how when I look around my school I see a sea of generic short hair on boys that does nothing for me. It's just boring and I don't understand why they'd want that.

I wouldn't hold it against a guy to have short hair, after all it's a personal decision and I respect that, but why is it so much more common to have short hair?

And why do you think it's become perfectly normal for girls to have short hair, but guys with long hair are often given strange looks and thought of badly?
