  • what to do with jay cutler?

If I were the GM of the Broncos Cutler were already be in detroit for as little as the 20th overall 1st of the second round and 20th of the third. My pick would go to either BJ Rajii or Tyson Jackson if Rajii is gone then spend the 20th on whichever inside linebacker is left (Maleuga or laurenitus) grab a top tier corner like dj moore with the first pick of the second round Rhett Bomar to be the qb of the future with my other second rounder, Rashad johnson to pair with Brian Dawkins with my third and either Shonn Greene or Glenn Coffee to be my big back with the 20th of the third. In one draft we would have addressed qb, rb,already have a speed back and receivers, and help at every level of the defense with dumervil and moss moving to OLB and Williams taking the weak inside spot.

  • you heard it here first?

its common knowledge that the Dolphins are looking at either Chris Long or Vernon Gholston at number one. They already have Jason Taylor and Joey Porter at the OLB position. Through free agency they have filled the defensive line with randy starks who will play end and Jason Furgeson to play the nose. They brought Josh McKown in to start this year while they see what John Beck is made of. The one position they didn't address is offensive tackle. Jake Long is hardly worth the number one spot or the money that goes with it and the Dolphins won't be able to trade out of their spot with the teams going after Darren McFadden knowing he's safe to at least the fourth spot. Point number two, the Jason Taylor trade requests. He doesn't want to be part of another rebuilding in Miami, so he wants to go to a win now team, enter the Vikings. On draft day there will be a straight trade Jason Taylor for Bryan McKinnie. Vernon Gholston to Miami, Chris Williams to Minnesota. Wait and you'll see!

  • Larry Fitzgerald to the Cowboys?

This WILL NOT HAPPEN I know that, but with the 14 million or whatever he's owed next season and the run first mentality the Cardinals are going to why wouldn't they ship him off to dallas for patrick crayton and Dallas's two first rounders. I know Crayton s a slot receiver, but they are losing Bryant Johnson. Their Draft would look like this. round one, Rashard Mendenhal, Ryan Clady, Andre Caldwell; round two Antoine Cason; round three Jerod Mayo. That would give them a homerun back a bookend tackle and a new number two receiver as well as a solid inside linebacker with some quickness plus a great corner that can play man or zone effectively and return punts if Breaston is out. To me its better to have a lot of really good players then one awesome player, especially when they still have Boldin who is pound for pound better for my money.

  • Bears Fans?

How dedicated are you that you keep attacking Rex Grossman for the offensive woes when his old offensive line is swiss cheese, his receivers have stone hands and his "running back" is made of glass? Ron Turner is the problem, but rather than admitting it we all just attack Grossman. WE SHOULD BE PETITIONNING TOGET RON TURNER FIRED not Rex Grossman!!!

  • Browns and Lions?

so how does this trade sound since the Lions have some guys that want out and the Browns have too many quarterbacks... Shaun Rogers and Tatum Bell go to Cleveland along with a third round pick, and Derek Anderson heads to Detroit. They can't keep both qbs, it would simply cost too much money, and Shaun Rogers would clog the middle while Tatum Bell would be some lightning to Jamaal Lewis's thunder.

  • mock draft 29-31?

29)Niners- James Hardy, WR Indiana: Mike Martz is the new sheriff in town so the niners will need to stockpile receiver depth.

30)Packers- Dominique Rogers-Cromartie, CB Tenn St.: the offense is solid, and the only problem on the defense is in the secondary. Cromartie is a big guy that can play the slot well.

    31) Giants- Patrick Lee, CB Auburn: Aaron Ross is good, but they need another shot of life beyond the D-line.

  • mock draft 23-28?

    23) Steelers- Branden Albert, OG Virginia: the Tomlin era could use another receiver, but with Faneca certain to bolt, they need to keep the O-line stable so they reach a little bit to grab the best young gaurd in the country

24)Titans- Early Doucet, WR LSU: the Titans will try to trade back about four spots so they don't have to reach for their biggest need.

25)Seahawks- Rashard Mendenhal, RB Illinois: the Shaun Alexander era is over and Morris can't do it all himself.

26)Jaguars- Aqib Talib, DB Kansas- Rasheen Mathis can't cover everyone at once and there are no receivers worth this pick.

    27) Chargers- Calais Campbell, DE Miami- the bolts could use help in the secondary, but with louis castillo getting hurt every year they need to build solid depth on the D-line

28)Dallas- Reggie Smith, DB Oklahoma: Dallas's major weakness on defense is in the secondary and Roy Williams is one horse collar away from a year vacation.

  • mock draft 17-22?

    17) Vikings- Desean Jackson, WR Cal: they need some more talent around AD so they will go with the best available, he can even return kicks and punts.

18)Texans-Jonathen Stewart, RB Oregon: Houston needs some one to take the pressure of schaub and johnson and a solid running game should do the trick

19)Eagles- Malcolm Kelly, WR Oklahoma: The eagles need help at linebacker and in the secondary, but Brian Westbrook can't be the offense forever.

20)Bucs- Phillip Merling, DE Clemson: though not their biggest need, Merling is certainly the biggest talent left and would be a steal here to reunite the Tiger's teammates.

21)Redskins- Kentwan Balmer, DT UNC: there's a need for another receiver even though they paid all that money for Randle El and Lloyd, but they've gotta do a better job at the line aganst the run, Balmer should do the trick.

22)Dallas- Limas Sweed, WR Texas: If they don't trade up for McFadden, Sweed would love to stay in Texas and a weak receiving corps.

  • mock draft 12-16?

12)Broncos- Ryan Clady, OT Boise St.: They would have liked to pick up a solid d lineman here, but with matt lepsis retiring and the o-line in doubt they need to put defense on hold for a round.

13)Panthers- Jeff Otah, OT Pittsburgh: Carolina needs a safety to replace mike minter and could use another linebacker, but with both tackles potentially hitting the open market they need to fill a major void on the O-line.

    14) Bears- Dan Conner, LB Penn St.: a lot is needed on the offensive side of the ball, but coach smith knows that defense wins championships so he fills the void left by Lance Briggs.

    15) Lions- Kenny Phillips, S Miami: the lions have a lot of problems on the O-line, but they can't pass up a talent like Phillps who will instantly make this defense better

16)Cardinals- Mike Jenkins, CB South Fla: If they hope to make the playoffs in this decade they need help at secondary. Antrelle Rolle will make the move to free safety so there's an opening there.

  • mock draft pt. 2 picks 7- 11?

    7) New England- Leodis McKelvin, CB Troy: The Super Bowl proved that even with Asante Samuel, the Patriots secondary is still the weakest link McKelvin will go a long way to fixing that

    8) Ravens- Vernon Gholsten, DE Ohio St.: That defense isn't getting any younger and they won't want to reach for a liineman with this guy still available.

9)Bengals- Sedrick Ellis, DT USC: This kid would be a perfect fit for Marvin Lewis instantly shutting down the run and very high character off the field as well.

    10) Saints- Keith Rivers, OLB USC: The Saints need help at corner and linebacker, but they'd rather geet a steal with this kid than reach for a corner when they can get a good one in the second round.

    11) Bills- Derrick Harvey, DE Florida: The Bills need another playmaker on offense, but can get a receiver in the second round and a tight end in the third so the go with a guy the recorded 15-5 sacks over the last two season's to aide the young, but talented defense.

  • first round mock draft picks 1-6?

1)dolphins- Glenn Dorsey, DT LSU: they pass on chris long because they can get quentin groves in the second round

2)rams- Chris Long, DE Virginia: they need more help on the D-line so they get the son of howie long to go with adam carricker laro glover and leonard little.

3)Falcons- Matt Ryan, QB Boston College: they have a lot of holes and could use Darren McFadden, but they need a clean cut kid to start getting mike vick out of everyone's head

4)raiders- Jake Long, OT Michigan: Lamont jordan isn't done yet and justin fargas is growing into a feature back, plus they stole mike bush last draft so they pass on McFadden and focus on protecting their young qb

5)chiefs- Brian Brohm, QB Lousville: last season proved that they need a real qb, and with no linemen to take at this spot Brohm is the guy

    6) jets- Darren McFadden, RB Arkansas: like the vikings last year he will be far to good to pass up here if the Cowboys don't trade up to get him

  • jeremy shockey?

Does anyone else think that the injury to jeremy shockey was the key factor to Eli Mannings growth as a quarterback and leader? I think for that reason alone this super bowl will be looked at as a fluke and Eli will regress next season with the ever cancerous shockey back in the huddle.

imortant to note I'm a bears fan not a giants hater!!!

  • The next president?!?

does anyone else get the urge to kill themselves or at least flee the country at the thought that hiliary clinton might actually become our next president? I'm not sexist or racist I wouldn't mind if Oprah or some other woman ran for president, just not that sucubus. Seriously what has the world come to that we'll throw good votes after bad just to prove a point. You can't blame an entire party just because one guy is an idiot. Look who he's been up against!!! STOP THE INSANITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Jets and Bengals fans?!!!?

How would you like to see a Chad Johnson for Jonathen Vilma and third round pick trade?! The way I see it is that Vilma doesn't fit n a 3-4 and Johnson is wearing out is welcome in Ohio. Sounds like a match made in heaven to me... probably why it won't happen.
