Just an average, everyday guy who likes to meet new, interesting people. I also like to learn, so I tend to be open-minded and not let my personal opinions or viewpoints dominate the lives of those I interact with. Most of all, I like having fun and enjoying the most out of life and no, that does not mean trips around the world and caviar!
Why did God Decree That The Man Should Make Coffee In The Morning?
A man and his wife settled every argument by seeking the answer from the Bible. One morning neither wanted to get up to make the coffee. The woman asked the man to do it, the man said, "If you can show me in the Bible where the husband should make the coffee in the morning, I'll get up."
The next morning, the woman wakes the man up, gives him a Bible, point on the page and goes back to sleep.
The man takes the Bible, looks at it, and at the top of the page, in big bold letters he reads:
HEBREWS

Software1 decade agoDoes anybody know the name of this song?
It's an old r&b/soul song from the 70's:
There's a spell on my mind
And you're to blame
Nothing else in my life
would ever be the same
CHORUS
It must be love
For there is nothing that I won't do
For the love of you
From now on
Everything that I have is yours....
This is straight from the heart
No words
Could ever doubt
my love
Will last till the end of time
Someone please help!!!!

3 AnswersGoogle1 decade agoCan Anyone Help Me Past My Visual Basic Nightmare?
I cannot get past the logic behind this problem:
Write a program that requests a sentence, a word in the sentence, another random word, then displays the sentence with the first word replaced by the random word. Example, user types in: "What you don't know won't hurt you." in the first text box, types "know" in the second, then "owe" in the third. The program should display "What you don't owe won't hurt you."
I got most of it figured out. I am having trouble with, and would appreciate any input on, how the INDEX OF and SUBSTRING methods would be utilized to implement this program.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
2 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoVisual Basic Nightmare?
I have a problem from a Visual Basic programming book and it is driving me up the wall!! I am supposed to design a program that will allow you to enter the name of a team, their total games won and total games loss. The program is then supposed to compute the win/loss percentage and display the result. I have everything but the math formula. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow do I effectively remove the Confliker virus?
Nearly a year later, this worm is still a nasty threat.
At school they have recently increased class size and have returned some computers they archived.
These computers are so old I have been helping the instructors install XP Service Packs 2 & 3, plus about 200 updates.
Anyway, these computers have been infected with the virus. I used Mirosoft's Malicious Software Removal only to have the virus re-appear a few minutes later, before I can get the anti-virus installed.
How can I completely get rid of it and close the holes....at least long enough to get an anti-virus installed

6 AnswersGambling1 decade agoAs a Christian, am I anti-gay?
People are quick to bash a Christian whenever homosexuality is mentioned...we are also accused of not using logic when we talk so this may not make sense to all you of high IQ's, but what the hell.
The world is full of gay people, has been throughout the history of the world. I grew up around gay people, I've had high school friends who are now gay adults, I have gay friends and I presently have a gay roommate, so I am in now way shape or form homophobic, nor do I discriminate or show bias because someone is gay.
However, I am a heterosexual, period. And like most gay people celebrate their pride, I too, have heterosexual pride. I will never be ashamed of that. As a Christian, I do believe that homosexuality is a sin. I am entitled to that belief and I will never change that because I want to be politically correct with my gay friends.
A Christian is all about the witness, or the lifestyle he lives, and I am taught to respect ALL of God's creation in my everyday life, and to love everyone as I would myself. So I can never shun anyone because of race, religion, sexual preference, so I treat all people the same.
Even to the point where I am persecuted for being a Christian or being straight. Although I find it highly offensive when gay people try to impose themselves or their lifestyle on me, I still don't treat them any different. I don't need to hear about your night out, thank you very much and I won't tell you about mine.
I don't believe I am anti-gay in the slightest, but people, in their ignorance of course, associate being Christian with anti-gay. What do you think? I know the usual disrespectful, smart-@$$ remarks will come, because this is yahoo! answers, but I will give heed to all the serious answers.
