When I noticed the show I was watch earlier was interrupted for a presidential address, it got me to thinking, if there was a local emergency, like a severe thunderstorm or an AMBER ALert, would it interrupt a presidential address to report the local news?

1 AnswerComputer Networking7 years agoblocked from sending friend requests on Facebook?
I feel this happened in error because it occurred after I sent a request to someone with over 600 mutual friends and mutual high school and college information. Is there a way to appeal it or a browser plugin which can circumvent this?
2 AnswersFacebook7 years agoGetting ticketed by a speed camera in a rental car?
Even though I am very careful around one if I see it (like outside a school) what would happen if I am driving a rental car and happen to get cited by a speed camera for going too fast. Do I get the fine or would it go straight to the car rental company. I live in Ohio and we have the cameras in places like near schools during restricted hours.
4 AnswersInsurance & Registration7 years agoWhy is the American news media so biased?
Why is there so much bias in the American news media? Every source of news it seems is always biased towards the left/Democratic party except Fox News who is biased to the Republican right. Why is no major source of news perfectly fair and report on events exactly as they happened? (Like how only Fox News was the first to report on the Benghazi attack after it happened)
11 AnswersMedia & Journalism7 years agoCan I block a phone number using my VOIP phone service?
Our family continues to be harassed by the same telemarketer sometimes as much as a few times a day. Our Caller ID shows they use a rolling number which often times is said to come from different states (we've seen Florida, New York, and Arizona) and sometimes the number and name are private. We have AT&T U-Verse digital phone and I would like to know if there is some way I can trace the numbers and block them from our side of the service?
2 AnswersLand Phones7 years agoWhy doesn't the news give out the names of minors in major stories?
Why does the national and local media never give out the names of children who have been involved in major cases? A few I can think of are the Steubenville Ohio rape case where they did not disclose the name of the 16-year-old girl and the Cleveland Ohio kidnappings story where they did not give the name of Amanda's daughter. Is there a rule by the FCC that forbids it?
2 AnswersMedia & Journalism7 years agoHas a car resposesser ever been shot or killed?
I've been watching clips of shows like "Operation Repo" and "Lizard Lick Towing" lately. Even though these shows are not the most real shows on TV. Has there ever been a real life case of a repo person such as the ones on the show who has been shot by someone trying to defend the car being taken? What would the possible sentence be if one were killed?
