Hi friends! I work at a preschool, and this week as been extra long. Anywho, I am completely drawing a blank when it comes to a poem I can have my kids write for their mom's for mother's day. I saw the most recent Modern Family about a recipe for a good mom, and that was SUPER cute.

... Or can I do it myself? My car is under warranty, it's a 2009 mazda. I really don't have the time to sit around in the middle of the week, waiting for them to eventually get to my car. I was just wondering if I do myself, will it void the warranty? And what's the grace period if I have to get it done at the dealer? Say my next change would be at 7,000 miles, is it cool if I bring it in at 7,500 miles, or is that bad? And please don't preach to me that "oh it's only 20 min to change your oil". Yeah, well last time I was at the dealer it took an hour, plus where I live and work, the closest dealer is an hour away one way. So that'd be 4 hours I'd have to take off of work, and that's not going to happen.

I cut back on junk food, and I got a wii fit plus, which I use every day. I'm not over weight, but I would like to shed the remaining baby weight I have from when I was pregnant with my son. I'm 150lbs now at 5'6. I would like to be in/around the 130's in about 2-3 months. Beach vacation. =) Any helpful suggestions, or advice? Thanks!!!

I have a 2009 Mazda 3. It has the basic anti-theft, beep thing after you lock the doors, but recently I've had some people mess with my car. They snapped off my windshield wiper. The whole thing. Of course my "alarm" would go off if someone tried to hot wire it, but I want something more sensitive. Something that goes off if someone pretty much touches it. Why should I worry about people being dumb when I am still making payments?! Any who, not really looking to spend over $500. Something reasonable. =) Thanks!!

My husband is coming back from his 4th tour (Yes... 4th in 9 years.. UGH) to Iraq in about 1.5 months. I've been looking around online for banners and what not, but they are ridiculously expensive! I've tried buildasign.com, with their "free" banners, but it'll be like $60 in shipping. I don't mind paying under $40 for a banner and shipping total. But all the sites I've looked at seem a little pricey. Any suggestions?? Oh, I'd make my own, but with me working 50+ hours a week, and having a one year... I really don't have the time. Thanks!!!!

I have 2 cats, both female, and not spayed (yet!). Our vet is out on maternity leave till early Sept. But anywho, they're both in heat, and one of my cats pees EVERYWHERE! This is not her 1st heat, but she has never peed all over the house like this before. I'm calling the on call vet tomorrow to see if she can be checked out, like a UTI or something. But is this normal? For a female cat in heat to pee all over the place? I mean she's never done it before... and the other cat isn't doing it. Ughhhh! Suggestions! PLEASE!!!

I'm pretty much a single parent, (Husband is in Iraq...), and my son is 1 year old. I'm slowly running out of things to make for him and I to eat. I love to cook, but I hate cooking enough for 4+ people. The food will just go to waste. That and I don't want to eat the same thing for a week. Any ideas? Recipes? Websites? You'd be awesome!! Oh, we're both not allergic to anything, I know for sure I'm not, and so far so good with him. Thanks!!!!!!

ok, I'm not a computer person, so simplest terms would be awesome. I have a Mac desktop. Everytime I try and video chat with my husband (who's in Iraq, hence the reason to chat), like 5 min into it, it crashes. Boots me off, everything yahoo messenger related, kaput. It's getting a little irritating. It doesn't happen when we're just chatting. Any suggestions? And is this "normal"?

I had super bad skin in Highschool, from 14 till now (24) then afterwards it cleared up, but I still had scaring. Then I had a baby,(last year) back to acne, which left me with those horrible red marks. My face is smooth, but it's got red blochy things where the acne was bad. How can I lighten this nonsense? I've been using mederma, but... it doesn't seem to be working. Any suggestions would be awesome! I'll try almost anything. (No laser surgery or anything like that). THANKS!

I'm 24, and it seems like my acne is like it was in highschool! I've tried proactive, made it worse. I 've tried everything in the stores, well almost everything. I drink tons of water, and I try to eat healthy. I just can't seem to clear it up. It's really only bad on my chin. Any suggestions?

She just turned 1, and she's got 2 older sisters, (3 yrs, and 5 yrs). What's something I can get for her that she can play with her sisters with too?

So I plan on using my GI Bill, however I enlisted prior to the post 9/11 GI bill came around, and payed the $100 or whatever a month it was. Do I get that money reimbursed? I know I can use the post 9/11 one and that's the one I'd like to use. I'm just curious about that... or if anyone has done that before. Thanks!!

So I'm ets-ing with an honorable discharge. I did my 4 years, and now I'm done. I understand I have 4 more years of IRR. Anywho, I have to speak with the reserve career person. Everyone I've talked to is saying they'll make me join the reserves. I know there's a chance of me being called back to active duty, and I'll deal with that when it comes. I don't want to do reserves, or NG or anything for at least a year. My question is, can this MSG make me join the reserve, or no? I mean not MAKE ME, but you know what I mean. Sorry, I have no idea what to expect as far as clearing. My unit is a bunch of dumbasses. Thanks.

My son is currently in his infant rear facing car seat, and he's growing like crazy. So I'm starting to look for bigger one. Being a first timer at this whole parent thing, I have no idea what to look for. I'm guess I should get a convertable one. My sons car seat holds up to 22lbs, but he's already 19lbs. So... Yeah. I have an '09 Mazda 3. (4 door). I don't want something to be huge, and bulky... but then I don't want something junky, and unsafe. What would you suggest I get? THANKS!!!! :)

He's got these white patchy things in his mouth. Apparently there was a case of thrush at his daycare, so I'm guessing he got it from daycare. He's 7 months old, and I know for a fact he didn't catch it from me. 1. being the fact I had him via c-section. And he's 7 months old with his 1st case of it. Anyway, of course it's saturday, and the dr is closed.. (isn't that always the case) he's eating pretty well, and he doesn't seem in any pain. What can I do to start the process of getting rid of it, before we see the doc on monday? And how long will this darn thing last?

Oh I am NOT breastfeeding. Before I get blasted for not BF, My body never produced the milk. ANYWAY....

The doc suggested I introduce my son to a sippy cup. Being a 1st time parent, I have NO idea which one to try 1st. He's drank water from a cup a few times, (with me in control of course). From your expeirence, what would be a good starter cup? Thanks!! :)

My 4 week old kitten I found is dragging her butt all over my bathroom floor. She makes it into the litter box, but then I see poop smears on the floor. She was dewormed when I took her to the vet last week. I made another vet appointment for her tomorrow, but what can I do to stop this? Is it possible she still has worms?
