  • Microphones ... how to get stereo recording from one mic.?

Here's my setup: I'm running two "lines in" from a digital keyboard into an interface linked to my computer. I want to run a mic (3-prong) into ONE of the two possible mic receptacles of the interface so I can add voice to music from the keyboard and have them both recorded simultaneously.

Here's my question: I know the music from two "lines in" comes through as stereo, but will the mic, because it is using only one receptacle, come through as stereo also, or will it record as mono?

I would like some direction on this before I go ahead and purchase the mic.

  • For all you golfers: how can I cure an iron "hook" and a wood "slice"?

I am baffled as to why my irons nearly always send the ball to the left while my 22 degree, 25 degree, 3-wood, and driver nearly always send the ball to the right. I have tried a stronger left hand grip for the 22, 25, 3-wood, and driver...doesn't consistently correct the problem. I have tried altering the distance I stand from the ball. I have tried ball placement....further front, further back. I have tried leveling my swing. I have tried a more upright swing. Nothing works consistently. I suspect it may have to do with the length of the shaft....irons are shorter than the 22, 25, 3-wood and driver...so it probably boils down to a swing change. But what exactly needs to change in the swing to compensate for that difference?

  • Something weird going on in YA?

Has anyone else noticed that old questions....some even categorized as "resolved".....are appearing on the question board as only a few minutes or even a few seconds old? In fact, I haven't found any seen any new questions posted in the last two weeks. What is going on?

  • Windows Vista....better than XP? Will software used with XP be okay with Vista?

I'm thinking primarily of Cubasis for recording music. Anyone have experience with this?

  • Has anyone had any experience with waterlase dentistry?

Supposedly there's no shot, no drill, no pain. I'm wondering if there is also no truth to it. Anyone's experience or information on the subject will be appreciated.
