Bought disc PS3 game, freezes up and fails to load. Will I have the same problem with a downloaded version?
The disc seems to be clean and free of scratches. It seems like it's my PS3 that can't read it. Will I likely have the same problems if I download the same game off of PSN?

This would ensure that people don't smuggle guns into our country.

4 AnswersOther - Politics & Government8 years agoWhy are libs insisting that online gun sales aren't subject to a background check?
It is perfectly legal to buy and sell firearms provided federal and state legal statutes are obeyed. Transfer of firearms ownership between individuals must be managed by a third party who is a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder. Virtually anyone who is involved in the sale or distribution of firearms is an FFL holder, including gun shops.
From Gunbroker.com:
To take delivery of a firearm, buyers must either have an FFL or find an FFL in their local area to take delivery of the item for them. If you have an FFL, you already know what is required. For buyers who do not hold an FFL, this means the buyer must find an FFL in their area to take delivery for them. This typically means the buyer must contact a local gun shop and make arrangements for the transfer.
Buyers must contact the FFL holder before placing a bid on an item. By contacting the FFL holder before bidding, the buyer can verify that all state and federal laws will be observed. For most firearms, the buyer must be able to pass a background check.
12 AnswersPolitics8 years agoHow do I re-configure my guns so that they start committing crimes on their own?
Greetings!
I have a collection of firearms that I purchased for self-defense. However, there seems to be a problem with them. They all simply sit in their cases and take no initiative on their own.
I have been listening to people like Barack Obama and Dianne Feinstein talk about gun violence, and how guns are responsible for so many crimes here in America.
What do I need to do to make my guns start committing crimes? I'd like for them to go and rob a few banks every night. Might as well make some money while I sleep, you know?
Is there a switch on them that I haven't activated? Or are my guns simply not motivated enough? If the latter is the case, does anyone know any pep talks I can give them so that they start committing crimes on their own?
Thanks!

...after 40 senators voted "Yes" on the assault weapons ban on Monday?
And even more senators voted to ban magazines holding more than 10 rounds?
6 AnswersPolitics8 years agoWould you support a Constitutional amendment requiring voters to pass a simple test of voter aptitude?
I'm not talking about a three-hour essay test. Just a simple, ten question test making sure that voters have at least a cursory knowledge of the candidates and the issues.

I originally had them in the Elite Eight, but I've heard and read many analysts saying they'll be an early bust.

Does this thing have any chance of getting to Obama's desk? I own several guns that are included in the bill.
Not that I plan on turning them in if it does become "law" ("law" in quotation marks, because I will not recognize anything so blatantly unconstitutional as law).
4 AnswersOther - Politics & Government8 years agoHow much weight can I realistically lose?
I'm male, currently 6'3", weighing at a little less than 220 (219.5 with clothes and shoes on). I had my body fat hydrostatically weighed and it says I'm at 13.7% body fat.
How low can I realistically hope to get in terms of weight? My ultimate goal is to get to 150-155 at most, but some people I've talked to say that's not realistic seeing as how I'm not morbidly obese currently (still have a lot of fat that I can lose).
What's the lowest weight I should shoot for?
Thanks in advance!!!

Give a result for 15 rounds if you want, too.

2 AnswersBoxing9 years agoWhat over the counter products can I take for sleep along with Ambien?
I am a life-long insomniac. Prescribed Ambien 10mg, which I take every night, but unfortunately I have built up a tolerance, and it doesn't work as well as it used to.
What over the counter products (Valerian... NyQuil... TylenolPM... Melatonin, etc.) can I take with the Ambien, and when should I take them?
Thanks.

4 AnswersBoxing9 years agoSteve Naismith on SportsCenter: Penn St. Football should receive the "Death Penalty" for 5 years. Agree?
He went on to say that any players should be allowed to transfer without losing any eligibility; in fact, he stated that they should be granted an extra year of eligibility.
But as for the program, Naismith says it should be wiped off the map for the next half-decade. He argues that the university should in no way be permitted to profit from their football program.
How do you feel?
I certainly see his point, but on the other hand, the perpetrator is in jail, and Paterno is dead.
How should the NCAA deal with Penn St. football?
10 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoWould you still watch professional boxing if the fighters wore headgear?
Simple enough question.
Personally, I would still love the sport as I'm not a fan of knockouts. But I know a lot of people are, and wouldn't appreciate it.
