Smarter Than You

P.S. Studies have actually been done that support this theory.

Mine is a day that most probably hate and find annoying.. but it is the day we put our clocks back. I love fall (so it's my favorite season), and there is something about getting an extra hour to sleep in!

I spent my childhood and teen years with a sister who stole from me constantly, spread ugly rumors about me through out the school, brought the ugliest photos of me she could find to school to show people "what I really look like" and the list goes on and on. As we got into our 20's and grew more into our own lives/relationships.. she told her new boyfriend/friends all about how horrible her life at home was and how i was very mean to her and she played a big victim. She is now married to that boyfriend and has kids and friends and a life.. she doesn't seem as bad anymore.. however when I am around her family or friends (for example her wedding, or family dinners etc), I know everyone there thinks I'm a horrible person and sometimes they even give me dirty looks etc or make little comments indicating that I was mean to her. I don't want to tell on her.. if they knew the truth, it would destroy her and surely she would never talk to me again. But when someone mentions something about me that isn't true..I just sit there and say nothing. My sister will never tell the truth because to do this, she would have to admit that she lied to everyone for so many years and they will never look at her the same. SO, should I just suck it up and not care what they think of me?? It is pretty hurtful and the only way I can defend myself is by hurting my sister and possibly losing my relationship with her forever.

I live in an expensive residential area right at the end of a private street which I chose originally because there is no traffic driving by etc.. but now I am dealing with about 10 cars and parents and kids out front every morning and late afternoon. I ve even noticed people parking in my driveway to wait for their kids. And all the kids screaming and parents hanging out chatting in front of my home.

For me.. it's that people think I'm not really working and ask me to watch their kids or call me all day or stop in whenever, or assume I can run errands for them.. they think I don't have a "real" job.

I'm Agnostic Atheist and I think Steve Harvey is missing a marble or two.
