This is my first semester of college, and when I was applying for classes over the summer I had no idea how grades-courses worked. I saw a sociology course that was interesting and signed up for it since it had no prerequisites, and my academic adviser didn t so much as let me know that I was enrolling in such a hard class. I m only now learning that not only am I the only freshman that s ever taken it, but my class is constituted in half parts seniors and half college graduate students. It s too late to drop out of it now.

I have an exam next month and I really regret this. What should I do? Should I tell someone?

Today I messed up big time.

I got accepted with a full scholarship into a prestigious university (American University in Washington DC) with a 4.0 GPA and spotless record. I've taken 3 AP exams this year.

I missed two AP external exams, and as a result, my school will drop my GPA down slightly (to a 3.8).

The worst part is I was caught ditching school for the first time and got in so much trouble; they're going to inform my college that I was skipping school and they're not going to consider bringing my GPA back up despite the fact that this violates the first condition to which I was accepted.

Will they take back my acceptance, will my scholarship be jeopardized, or do you think it's too late for them to rescind my acceptance? I already rejected NYU and BU for this; it's too late to accept another college.

Like in the beginning, I want to bring up a poem that inspired the entire work of fiction because it kind of supports the theme and atmosphere of the whole book, as well as inspires the title.

Can I just publish the poem and credit the poet, or do I need explicit permission?

If I do need permission, how do I get it?

I'm a senior in high school, and lately I just don't care about anything anymore. Not even my brother coming home for the first time in a year tomorrow. I'm usually really excited about it but now I feel so indifferent about everything. I used to have a 4.0 GPA but I just can't bring myself to try anymore. I'm in the middle of finals and I'm not even studying; I'm failing all my exams and I could not care any less. I don't care about college, my family, nor my friends. I've been cutting them all off because I just can't bring myself to be social and public. I'm having so much trouble focusing, I keep getting distracted so much to the point that sometimes I can't even finish a sentence without blanking out and forgetting what I was talking about. I used to be so outgoing and well-rounded but everything just seems pointless and hopeless. I haven't been eating or sleeping properly, and if I don't have school the next day I literally spend the entire day in bed sleeping.

What's wrong with me?

My mom had some brand new expensive makeup in her drawer, and they went missing. Since I m the only girl in the house, and I wear makeup to school, she assumes it s me and openly tells me she doesn t trust me.

I didn t steal it of course, but she knows I sometimes go through her drawer to get medicine when I m sick.

Her makeup is still missing. I have no idea how it could have gone missing. How do I prove I didn t take it?

The fingernails on my right hand have a normal color, but on my left hand its a very vivid orange-pink-red.

I have a cracked version of Minecraft and I've had a server going on for a while now. Then suddenly out of nowhere my friends stopped having access to the server. I found out its because port 80 is closed.

Every time I start my laptop, it shows "press f2 or f12" or something along those lines, and when I do, it shuts down again. When I don't, it shuts down too. Everything I press and do doesn't work.

Story idea #1:

It's actually a trilogy about family, adventure, and bravery. A man named Nolan with three sons dies and supposedly leaves a large fortune (3.2 billion dollars) to his oldest and richest son, Roy. Luke and Andy, his brothers with kids and are far more in need of the money, are enraged. The Montgomery family is in extreme tension, Luke threatening suicide. That's when Andy's three kids, Rowan, Avia, and Nolan (they're the main characters) decide to take matters into their own hands and bring their family back to peace. They know something is off about great grandfather Nolan's will, like they know it must have been meddled with, so they set out to rob Roy, take the will and the loot, and end the family war. It ends with a lot of plot twists, and long story short, Roy kills Rowan, Avia, and Nolan. Roy, Andy, and Luke kill themselves, so Luke's kids, being the only living Montgomeries left, get the loot.

Story idea #2:

This one is a single novel. The Deyadre family has long since broken up. The eldest son, Ezra, moved with his father to Michigan while their ten-year-old son Ben remained in Miami with his mom. The novel starts with Ezra being forced to live with his family in Miami for the summer for the first time in seven years. He is not told why, and is furious when forced. Ezra knows they're hiding something from him. It turns out Ben, the ten year old, has a terminal case of cancer, and has requested his father and brother spend the summer under the same roof again. So the Deyadre family is reunited for the first time, and after a while, things start working out. Ezra and Ben start growing closer together again, and everything seems to be going fine according to Ben, but it's only a matter of time before his cancer catches up and Ezra realizes what's going on and why he's here.

Story idea #3:

I've been working on this one since I was 13. I have a serious emotional attachment to this plot and these characters. Anyways, so four sophomores go on a trip next to a suppose abandoned tropical island, and after becoming stranded on the island without any means of getting help, they must learn to work together to survive. Meanwhile, they realize after a short time that they're not alone. They recognize that the island is not abandoned when they hear gunshots and see cannon fires from the west side, and after time the message becomes clear that the guns and cannons are pointed at them. The four kids don't know why the inhabitants are out to get them, but they subdue, trying to make it through day by day. After a while, they finally see rescue planes out looking for them, and right before they could be rescued, the planes are shot down, the kids are taken by the west side inhabitants, and when interrogated, they realize they're on a terrorist island and the people of that island intend on bombing and literally destroying the country they said they were from. They've started what could be the third world war, and now they're wanted for supposedly helping the terrorists. The question is, why would they start a nuclear war in the first place? How could four sophomores get the terrorists to retreat? How much are they willing to sacrifice to regain their country's independence? This is a story about love, war, sacrifice, and most of all bravery in the face of adversity.

If you think any story has any plot holes or is too confusing, I'd just like to say the actual versions are far more detailed, and I gave really poor and vague summaries, I know. To those who actually took the time to read it all, THANK YOU. Please tell me which one is worth writing first!
