1 AnswerMathematics10 years agoWhat is the best company to test video games for? Or through which online site?
Pretty self-explanatory, I want to test video games and need a good, reliable site or company to "hire" me. Any suggestions? I'm in the Seattle area if that helps for certain companies.

I am a senior in high school, am finished with my math courses through AP Calculus and taking AP Physics this year. I've always wanted to be a teacher and my hope is to teach in secondary schools (not too good at handling children). I have taken up a coaching job in a local select soccer program and am looking to start a tutoring business throughout the rest of the school year. What else can I do to prepare myself for college?
Thanks for any help =)
2 AnswersTeaching1 decade agoWhat if I like the idea of religion but not religion itself?
To be honest, religion does have a good moral foundation: love of your family, friends, neighbors, respecting those who are older than you, doing your homework and learning to be responsible.
But why do our parents make us go to church? Why must they force us to believe in something they think is true, and, if it were, wouldn't we figure it out on our own? I used to just go along with it, going to church on Christmas and Easter with my mom and grandparents, who are devout Christians, but it never made me happy.
If any religion, for that matter, is the "right one," shouldn't the person get to choose what they think is right? But if anything good comes from religion, it is the lessons you learn that you can apply to life. Is this justifiable to be cause for joining a religion? Because you "feel surrounded by good people?" Atheists can also be the nicest people once you get to know them.
I don't really KNOW if there is a higher being, given that there is no proof, and I don't BELIEVE there is one either, but would anyone like to enlighten the rest of us you opinion on this matter?

1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoTwo poles on level ground 20 ft high...?
two poles are on level ground that are each 20 ft high. there is a wire suspended between the poles that, at its lowest point, is 5 ft from the ground. what is the distance between the two poles? i have found that it is 15 ft from the lowest point of the wire to the top of the pole (imaginary line horizontal from it) but the wire is also 15 ft long in half. and i found this impossible to solve with 1 angle and the hypotenuse the same length as the leg. help?
