  • Don't understand why I am gaining weight?

I have always been on the heavy side, but in the past few years of adult hood (I just turned 23) I have ballooned. About two months ago I put myself on a "munching" diet. Breakfast consist of one banana when I first wake up, two hard boiled eggs about an hour later, and 1-2 hours after that an apple. I carry granola bars with me every where so I can continue to snack every 3-4 hours of my day. Dinner is typically something small I grab when I come in from my day. I also have been forcing myself to walk more. Rather then catching the bus at the stop right outside my door, I walk 3 stops (about a mile) down, and get off at the same place to walk home. During my free time I plan more physical actives such as walking around a park I have never been to, ice skating, or just walking around the neighborhood for a few hours. In the two months I have started this I have GAINED over 20 pounds. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have more energy, and can physically do more but the weight keeps piling on...

  • Why am I always hungry?

I have been heavy my whole life. Recently I have been good about working out and watching my portions. I've lost a lot of weight, almost 75 pounds in about 4 months. My diet is one egg omelet with one slice of cheese for breakfast, then one cup of food for lunch, and one cup of food for dinner. This use to fill me and I never was hungry in between. All of a sudden I have been hungry all the time. I will finish my meal then an hour or two later want more. I have tried added in more carbs and protein into my meals to see if that will sustain me with no luck. I'm afraid if I start eating more I will gain the weight back. What can I do to control the hunger?

  • My cat hates this spot!?

I have a cat that I have owned for 16 years. She is perfectly healthy, by playing with her you would have never guess her age. A few months ago we got a futon mattress and left it on the floor so when people come over they can have a soft place to sleep. She has never bothered it, she normally sleep with me and my husband in our bed. We had people over the last week end in April and they slept on that mattress, ever since she poops on it (in the same spot) and no longer will sleep with us, but in the living room. We got rid of the mattress because of smell and we thought she was marking it (which is odd because female cats rub on things to mark thing, males urinate.) Last night she pooped on the rug in the same spot as before when the mattress was there. Why is she doing this???

  • Parents and CPS?

What is with people and CPS? Leave other people alone, and mind your own business. I can't count how many people get mad over a misbehaved child, but when the parent tries to even attempt to do something about it you want to get the kid taken away. This needs to stop! CPS is for kids who are so badly abused they will die if something is not done. Not because the kid pushed the parent to far and got there butt smacked. You may not realize what happens to a kids once he is taken away. They are bounced from foster home to foster home, never having more then a few bags of clothes. Most foster parents only are parents for the money, so the kid never get the love or attention they need, and in some cases continue to get abused. Once they turn 18 they are kicked out of the system and have to fend for them selfs. They are never allowed contact with any of there biological family, and end up never seeing friends again. Why would you do this to a child over a spanking?!

  • How do I lose weight?

I am 20 years old and weight over 300 pounds (gross I know) But I don't understand why. I have always battled with my weight. Last year I lost a lot, I was almost my normal body weight, when my mom died I ballooned, I gained all the weight back and then some. I recently got married and I am so discussed with my self I can't stand to even look at the pictures I kept on a diet, only eating 2 eggs for breakfast, one healthy choice meal for lunch and dinner. I also walk for at least 30 mins a day during my lunch break, and if weather allows I swim for 2-3 hours after work. If i am craving something sweet I go and by fruit and make a smoothie with fruit, milk (i only buy 2%) and ice. What am I missing?

  • How to deal with abandonment issues. .?

My biological mother left me as a baby, her mother (my grandmother) raised me. I have always struggled with being to clingy to others. As I got older I learned that people are going to come and go in your life and thats a fact. Recently my problem has kicked up again. You see, my grandmother recently passed away, my bff started going out with my ex (now she won't speak to me) my other friends have moved across the country, and I'm getting married. The wedding is bringing out the worst in me. After my grandmothers death I starting speaking my mother again, getting to know my brother and sister. I invited her and the kids to a party I was having, not only did she forget and not come, no one else came either. I sent out over 100 invitations, inviting whole families expecting about half of the people to come. The ONLY people coming are my husbands friends. Everyone else is giving me reason why they can't come, send a gift or even give there blessings. How do I get over feeling abandoned?
