  • Why won't my chainsaw stay running?

I am trying to get my inlaws chainsaw running after it sat for a year or so. The gas was completely changed out, and Im pretty sure the mixture was right on, but it wouldn't start. After removing the carburetor and cleaning, it did finally start. However it will only run with the choke engaged, any movement of the choke and it immediately stalls out.

    Any suggestions?

  • Is resealing a leaky tank worth it?

I was able to get a 90 gal tank with the full set-up , only to find out there is a leak. Although it is a small leak. I have been told that it is possible to scrape out the old silicon and reseal the tank, but I am wondering what the success rate might be.
