4 AnswersComputer Networking1 decade agoI have a question about dryboxes?
I made a DIY box with silica gel and a hygrometer inside. What will happen to your photo gear if the environment inside a drybox is too dry? i.e. humidity is lower than the ideal 45-55%?
Also, is it bad when I take out the camera out the box and humidity outside is high, say 70-80%? Thanks!

1 AnswerOther - Internet1 decade agoWhich is better? 17-55mm f/2.8 or a 24-70mm f/2.8?
I'm quite puzzled, what are the pros and cons of these two? I have a 18-200mm f/3.5 for standard wide-angle photography, but does the 17-55mm makes any noticeable difference?
I'm considering to get a Sigma-branded lens for a Nikon D200, Nikkor is way out of the budget.
Thanks!

I want the 24-70mm f/2.8 for a Nikon D200. Are Sigma lenses good, performance-wise? The same model from Nikkor is way too expensive.
Thanks!

Is this feasible considering the price? Or should I get a D80 kit instead with a 18-135mm lens? Thanks.
1 AnswerCameras1 decade agoDo I need a tri-band mobile phone when traveling abroad?
The handset I have is just dual-band (Nokia 2630), do I need to get a tri-band model to make calls when I'm abroad? A friend said that a dual-band will do, you just have to adjust some settings but I don't think it will work.

6 AnswersFish1 decade agoHow to remove dirt from fenderwells?
Even a pressure washer can't remove this stuff. It looks like grayish dust or maybe road tar that's stuck on the wheelwells. There are also some asphalt specks that hardened on the paint on some areas. Is there a solution or chemical that can remove this without damaging the paint or undercoat? Thanks in advance!
