  • Can an a/c with a 25amp max condensor and a 45am max handler be hooked up to ONE 30amp breaker?!?!?!?

One company (that I trust) is saying it is a HUGE violation and fire hazard and another guy is saying that it is fine and nothing to worry about at all. I am no electrician but this doesn't even sound right to me. We have already had one problem on the is new unit that the one person states is due to the overload but the other guy states these things just happen and all is fine.

  • I am looking for a poem/song about an orphan and an old man...?

It is about how they become friends after he finds a note she had written. She draw him pictures and he makes her things but when spring/summer comes he doesn't come and she knows she will never see him again. The note contained something along the lines of "I ain't got no one to talk to so if you are reading this I love you".

    Thanks!

  • Movie Music question?

Hi. Trying to help someone else figure out this movie. At the end of movie a teen girl finds a Bob Dylan album and says something along the lines of " Bob Dylan, All right!" and then "Rolling Stone" plays marking the beginning of a new era, I guess in music or history. I am guessing the movie has something to do with music in the 50s/60s maybe??

  • Looking for book title.?

Available in the 90's. It is a book about an outcast teen boy who falls for an eccentric girl in his class who has a love of all things medieval. The teen boy is an artist and she nicknames him Leonardo(?). They meet a college professor that shows them a chalice. The girl is able to project herself to the time period of the chalice and allow the boy to see through her eyes so he can draw what she sees.

    Anyone know?? Thanks!

  • HOA fees questions! Advice needed.?

I was wondering is an HOA can raise fees by 45% because people aren't paying? Received a letter that fees going up drastically in part due to some foreclosures (understandable) but mainly because people are having problems due to the economy and can't pay or are just flat out refusing to pay. This is the part I have trouble with. I sympathize with all those having trouble, I really really do but an extra 45% is a lot. I have no problem chipping in extra for the family whose parents both lost jobs and have medical issues but an extra $600 + a year is going to start affecting us now too. Plus the people that are just refusing to pay that have the means to. They still reap the benefits of the HOA. Their lawns are kept up, get free cable, etc. I'm sorry, at the very least their cable should be turned off and they should be denied services where feasible.

  • Need help with MSN Messenger please?

I just signed up and a friend is trying to add me in her group. I received her friend invitation as accepted. However, she is showing up as offline on my messenger even though she is online. And I am showing up on hers but my little icon has this little red slash on it on her list. Is there some setting that needs to be changed or something so we can chat and she can add me to her group??

    Thanks!!

  • Lien on property for HOA fees--HELP!!?

Our HOA has really messed up. In a nutshell, we paid our HOA fees. Somehow (even though I confirmed just now with the bookkeeper our accoutn was current), their law firm has us as delinquent. They put a lien on our property. Number one, isn't someone supposed to tell us someone is trying to put a lien on our property? Number two, the law firm says this won't affect out credit or mortgage but I don't see how it can't!!

Quick question with yahoo e-mail that requires a correct answer. If I send an e-mail to a large amount of people in the following manner:

Send to e-mail: My own e-mail

Those that receive will be unable to see any other e-mail address but mine and if they send a reply it will only be received by me even if they accidentally hit the reply to all button. Is this correct? Thanks! :-)

  • Looking for Sweet Valley High Books?

Anyone know where you can buy the entire selection of Sweet Valley High?

I tried ebay already and I can buy used ones for as low as $0.01 but then you end up paying a separate shipping cost on each one.

It would be much easier to buy the whole collection in one purchase. Please provide links if you have them. Thanks.

  • Viewing Youtube videos HELP!!!!?

I am having major issues with viewing on Youtube. Lately, it seems like half of the videos I click on won't play. The video screen remains completely black (doesn't even show the play, volume, etc. buttons on the bottom...just a big black square). Anyone run into this or have any suggestions on what I need to do? I tried the sites suggestion of updating my flash player but that did absolutely nothing. Any advice would be appreciated! (Please be specific with any instructions)

  • First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit question!!?

Ok, I need someone to clarify something for me. (Trying to point out to a fact to a friend). My husband and I just bought first home and qualified for tax credit. Friends of our want to do the same. However, they are buying a duplex and immediately renting out half of it (actually I think the half already has the renter living there and they are just continuing their lease when they buy). According to this, they would not be eligible correct? When we went through this we were told only homes, condos and townhomes applied to the tax credit. And if you rent out or sell in first 3 years you either won't qualify for tax credit or if caught will have to pay it back. They already made the offer and had the inspection done and are totally relying on the fact that they will get the tax credit. From everything we went through and learned, they do not qualify or will be rejected. Any one else have firsthand experience/knowledge??

  • Apartment Security Deposit and carpet cleaning fees!! HELP!!!!?

We recently moved out of our apartment after living there for 3 years. (Prior to us living there another person had been in the apartment for years, carpets never changed out only cleaned). Now they notified us that they are keeping our entire deposit for carpet cleaning fees. Um, shouldn't they clean carpets before a new tenant moves in?? Because we have pets, they are saying it is due to pet stains and not normal wear and tear. We did have pets..two cats who are both fixed and only did their business in litter boxes so I am a bit preturbed. I almost feel like they are saying this so they can keep our money and are giving us no chance to dispute the claims at all. What are your thoughts.

  • Seriously, who determined this Recession has ended??!!?

I really want to know how they have determined this. Unemployment rates are at an all time high and still going up. People are still losing their homes left and right, can't afford their bills and people are terrified on how they are going to make ends meet let alone have a good holiday. So who decides that the recession is over and all is getting better?
