  • Whirlpool Quiet Partner II, Dishwasher Door will not close, latch seems locked?

    I can't close the door on my Whirlpool Quiet Partner II, it acts like the door lock is engaged in a cycle but its not in one, the previous cycle finished and cleaned fine but now the door doesn't close. I'm not talking about the lock light, its not a controls lock i'm talking about for the child safety feature.

    I checked the manual it says nothing about this in troubleshooting, and every google result I found seems to be talking about turning off the child locked controls, that is not my issue, the controls work fine and the lock light is not on.

  • Referencing included resource in C++?

    pfile = fopen ("python.txt", "r");

    /* Read the python code into memory */

    fseek (pfile, 0, SEEK_END);

    file_size = ftell (pfile);

    fseek (pfile, 0, SEEK_SET);

    pcode = (const char*)calloc (1, file_size);

    fread ((void *) pcode, 1, file_size, pfile);

    fclose (pfile);

    You can see i'm loading an external file in c++, its not included in the build when you compile the program though so the user would have to have that and my compiled exe.

    I'm using VS2010, I don't want my program to to need more than one file, how do I include the python.txt file as an included resource? I added it under "Resource Files" but I don't understand how to reference it from my c++ program once included.

  • Scoundrels new show on ABC, same plot as another show (?)?

    First off let me say I know that Scoundrels is an adaptation of an NZ show called Outrageous Fortune. That however has nothing to do with my question so no points if you waste my time with that answer.

    I saw another show, I believe its a US show, that shared the EXACT same plot as Scoundrels with the father going to prison and the wife having to take over and instead trying to go legit. I watched it in the last few years but I don't think the show lasted too long before being canceled. What is that one called? No one seems to know what I'm talking about and its very annoying lol.

  • A/C not cold, 2000 Mercury Cougar?

    I have already tried the recharge kit for the A/C which usually works on car's I've had before, but it didn't help in this case. Any other common issues that would could be why it blows air but isn't cold? Would like to look into any cheap options and avoid taking it to a shop if possible. The rates around here are brutal just for a diagnostic even if they can't find the issue.

  • Horn not working on 87 Camaro?

    I wanted to try and find any related fuses or relays that would affect the operation of my horn before going out to buy a new one. I looked online but not much help so far.

    What am I looking for an where should I look, a friend said if I press the horn and just hear a click it might be a bad ground, but I don't hear anything. Its a newish car to me and I don't know when the horn last worked as it never has for me.

  • access denied, running script on log in?

    I have a simple log on script that obviously runs on user login. My problem being they don't have permission to mess with the registry, and for good reason.

    But I need this information to be in HKCU which needs to be executed AFTER login right? How can I do this then? Is it possible to evelate the script's rights without putting the data in the wrong HKCU?

    Would this still work if ran as a startup script that runs BEFORE the login prompt? It doesn't seem like it can, but it also seems like it needs to lol. Help! ;)

  • Exchange 2007 Sync with Blackberry Devices?

    Just a quick question, we have the devices syncing with the exchange server, however some users have asked if we can set it up so that they can review and delete messages on their device without it updating their outlook inbox at work.

    So say I read a message on the go, can I keep it set as "unread" on the exchange server? Is that a setting on the device or the server? Any help is appreciated.

  • Cisco Routing and Switches?

    I'm running a CiscoASA 5510 router with several Cisco WS-C2960-48TT-L switches on a local network.

    I need to be able to restrict access to specific users via their computer MAC address. ie: Joe Blow is limited to connecting through Switch 1 on port 10 and anywhere else he tries to plug in will simply not work.

    Now I know I can limit who can access which ports individually with port-security however that is the wrong approach in this case, I only want to confine specific users to specific access routes.

    This seems something that is very plausable, but I can't seem to figure out how. I have full access to the router and switches via console and the cisco network assistant tool but nothing stands out as what I am looking for.

    Thanks in advance for your insight!

  • Where to get a 87 Camaro Trunk Lift/Strut Pair.?

    The internet is a big place but a lot smaller than you'd think when it comes to auto parts.

    The following car part sites are ALL basicly the same site, they offer the same products and descriptions from the same places, at almost exactly the same prices (some like to make more $$$) but they all are basicly reseller sites for the same stuff.

    partstrain.com, ecklerscamaro.com, carstuff.com, thepartsbin.com, racepages.com, statracing.com, autopartswarehouse.com, car-stuff.com, drivewire.com

    I've ordered the part(s) I want based on the descriptions twice already from a couple of those, and got the wrong thing twice. I am looking for an alternative site unrelated to the "crap network" above. The customer service is horrible, I've checked online reviews aswell, they don't know anything about what they sell, they all just go by the "provided description" which are quite generic on many items.

    Has anyone sucessfully ordered what I need before, where did you get it? Thanks!

  • Estimated full rebuild cost, for 700r4 transmission.?

    One of my projects is currently an 87 Camaro in need of some transmission love, I don't really work with transmissions so I'm having the work done in town.

    2 of the 3 shops I talked to about the problem think it’s the planetary, I thought this was a hard part that rarely went bad but it seems to be the general consensus.

    Anyway waiting on pricing from the other 2 but the first one quoted me $950 for a full rebuild with a new torque converter, free towing and a 12/12 warranty.

    Does that sound out of line to anyone that’s had this work done before? How much has it run you for this work, what were the results?

    I've heard people paying too little and getting crappy replacement parts, but I am not really sure what this should typically cost. What should I ask them about to make sure I’m getting what I need, its hard to sound like you know what you want when you really dont lol.

  • Adding keyless entry to 87 camaro?

    Yeah I would like to add a keyless entry to an 87 camaro with power door locks. I obviously know there was nothing like this for that by default, but where should I start?

    How do I interface with the locks, what type of system do I need to look for? Tips, suggestions and any actual experence with similar application(s) of my plan are appreciated.

  • Possible replacements for the 700R4 transmission?

    I have an 87 Camaro with a 700R4 automatic transmission that is going or possible already gone; I sadly need to stick with automatics as my other half may drive it too.

    I've heard a lot of bad things about the 700R4, other than this one going bad from being 20 years old, I don't have too much personal input on it. Is there a different model or transmission option I should consider when replacing?

    Also if you happen to know a good place to go get this replacement work done in the Orlando, FL area that would be a bonus.

  • 87 Camaro, 700-R4 Automatic Transmission Problem.?

    As stated my 87 Camaro uses an automatic transmission, while driving couple days ago doing about 30mph the rpm meter suddenly shot up to max and the transmission dropped into 1st gear for no reason. I immediately slowed down to pull over into a parking lot. I checked the fluid level and it was fine.

    I got it home and dropped the pan to check for any visible problems and I changed the filter, gasket seal and fluids while I was there (well about 5qt of it that came out). After refilling the fliud and allowing to warm I took it around the block to test the shifting, no change, still not getting past first.

    So I'm wondering if there is any vacume related sensor or hose I should be checking, I have a haynes repair manual that has no useful information for the automatic transmission, states to take it to a authorized mechanic. Hoping to avoid some jackass telling me I need to replace the tranny if I really don't need to, any helpful suggestions appreciated

  • What motor oil for 1987 V8 305 High Mileage Engine? (Florida)?

    With all the different types of motor oil I don't know how people keep track, is there a good souce of information on which ones to use on which types of engines in which weathers?

    I recently bought a 1987 Z28 Camaro, its a 305ci 4bbl with over 100k miles. I live in Florida, so cold starting is not an issue to consern with, but gas milage and optimal engine operating are. Does the high humidity factor in anywhere?

    You see the 10W-40 and 20W-50 a lot, but I also see some with only SAE 30 with no W/ indication, what factor does bit of information play? Thanks...
