  • First time leopard gecko breeding?

I am in the process of getting 2 leopard geckos for the first time. I am unsure whether it is a good idea to breed 1 male and 1 female for my first time and then have the babies and keep them... I don't know. I want to keep all the hatchlings, but I don't know how many a female lays per clutch. Do the females's keep laying clutch after clutch throughout breeding season, even when separated by the male? I just need suggestions and tips. Thanks!

  • Bump on dog's skin?

When I was petting my 1 yr old corgi, I noticed a bump on her side. I quickly pulled aside the fur, to notice that their was a white bump. I realized that it was a buildup of dead skin, so I picked it away (it came off easy so it wasn't like a scab, and my dog dog didn't mind). When all the dead skin was gone, their was a medium-size redish-pink bump left. Could this be a tick? She literally just got her Frontline put on RIGHT now, but I didn't put it all on her because she is kinda "allergic" to it. PLEASE tell me what this could be!!

PS her vet apt. got canceled (because of hurricane Sandy) and will be rescheduled to either Wed or Thurs

PPS the red bump did not apear to have a bullseye pattern, but that could have been overlooked by me.

  • my dog just was walking in a fertilized area?

we put fertilizer in our grass last week and our puppy was just playing around in the grass (that's fertilized). She's a corgi so she is quite low to the ground. Will she become sick or should I not worry? Should we bring her to the vet? Thanks!

  • Any ideas for a perfect puppy party?

My pembroke welsh corgi puppy is turning 1 year old in august (august 2nd). It's a big deal she's finally turning 1, so we'll be inviting over some puppy pals. Since it's a summer birthday, should it be a pool party or a something else? Thanks. Also anyone know any cute party songs???

  • How to stop this jumping!?

My 9 month old Pemb. Welsh Corgi jumps all over the place when she's excited and sees new people. The people she jumps on encourage it by petting her, but we tell them not to because we are trying to correct her. It doesn't seem to help, though. Any advice on how to stop this annoying behavior?

  • Where does the Pembroke Welsh Corgi come from?

I always hear on shows about dogs that they really aren't sure where corgis originate from. I was wondering if anyone else actually could give me a hint on maybe where they come from and their ancestor dogs. Thanks a bunch!

  • Does my puppy have a fever?

Her nose, instead of cold and wet, is dry and hot. Also, she is very out of it, and has runny stools (which are being tested for anything at a local trustworthy vet). She is hot all over, even though she is warm usually, she is REALLY warm. It is 7:18 pm, so I really can't bring her to the vet. Maybe in the morning. So in the mean time, I would appreciate a wise, helpful word of advice, or an answer!
