I am getting ready to go for my 6 week checkup. I am wondering what is the best birth control to start with the least amounts of side effects. Also, what is the best to get started on that once stopped, it doesn't take forever to get pregnant.

My 1 year old twins just received their 'chicken pox vaccine' and the MMR today. I was told by one of the nurses that the twins shouldn't be around anybody with a weakened immune system over the next 10-14 days.

My question / concern would be Thanksgiving. We are planning on having family over to our house - I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not now. I have one family member that has been on Dialysis for almost 20 years (doesn't have the best immune system).

Anybody that has a real clue about this - please help me out.

My husband and I have been married for 7 1/2 years. We have 4 kids and are pregnant with #5. When we got married, I was pregnant, so we just did a quick ceremony with the preacher, my husbands parents and my dad. It is most girls dream to have a "dream wedding" and we want to do something for our 10 year anniversary that includes all of our kids. We want to also do a spectacular ceremony that includes all of our close friends and family (maybe a big ceremony at an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean.

I am simply wanting info and tips from people that have done something like this. What all do you need to plan early and what simply plans need to be thought of. Also, any good resorts or locations.

I don't want any bad comments or negativity.

I need baby names that start with the letter "D". I am early in the pregnancy, but I am wanting to go ahead and get a list of names started. We do not know the sex of the baby (too early), but know that we want a name that starts with the letter "D".

I am just looking for some good ideas of Christmas presents mainly for my b/g twins (that will be 14 months at Christmas time). I am looking for some "cheaper" presents - we have 2 other kids and another on the way.

My husband just recently lost his job - my kids have already been accepted on Medicaid. I just found out that I am expecting again. I have already been diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. My question is : once I am accepted to Medicaid, will it cover all of my insulin and diabetes supplies.

First, I do not want any negative comments, we are happy about this. I have a 6 1/2 year old, 4 year old and 9 month old twins and I just took a home pregnancy test - another on the way. . .

I am guessing that we are only like 4-5 weeks pregnant. I am wanting different / unique ideas of how to tell the grandparents, the rest of the family and our friends know.

*Due to miscarrying in the past - we are not planning on telling them for a few months to make sure that everything is ok.

I have twins that are almost 6 months old. I was just what the "ideal" weight and height is for 6 month olds.

FYI : they were big (for twins) at birth . Twin A (boy) was 5 lb 13 1/2 oz ; 18 in. Twin B (girl) was 6 lb 4 oz ; 19.25 in.

Hi. . . I have 4 kids - a 6 yo, 3.5 yo and 5 month old twins.

Why are people so stupid when it comes to the questions that they ask when you have twins (or for some of you that have higher order multiples).

~ Are they twins ? ~~We bought bibs that say "Buy one" and "get one free"

~ Are they identical (I have a boy and girl - they CAN'T BE INDENTICAL)

~ What are you going to do with all of them kids ?

~ I'm glad they're not mine

I have asked questions about trust funds for kids, but don't think that's exactly what I need. I have a 6 yo, 3.5 yo and 5 month old twins. Every Christmas and birthday, one of the sets of Grandparents buys each kid a savings bond. To me, they are a waste, you have to keep them up and can't do anything with them for years. Each of the kids also gets plenty of cash and stuff thru the year (and of course, especially at Christmas and birthdays.

My question is : what type of account do I need to open up that grandparents or whoever could put money in it (instead of getting the savings bonds), that would make money and that the kids couldn't touch until 18 or 21.

**added note: I don't want to open something "just for college" because as much as I want my kids to go to college, if they don't, I still want them to be able to get the money that they have saved.
