  • 8th Grade Graduation Dress?

I'm 5 ft 2, with dark brown eyes, black hair, tan and I'm athletic. I'm looking for a pink dress with two straps (no halters, strapless, or one-shoulder dresses please) that shouldn't be longer than my knees. I plan on wearing gold sandals (no heels) in case you need to know. Where can I get a grad dress that's not too formal, but not too casual either (online is an option, too) My budget is $50. Thanks so much <3

  • What size Toms should I get?

I'm new to Toms and I heard from some people that they run small, others that they are perfect, and others that they are too big. Here are my other shoe sizes for reference:

    Nike sneakers: 8.5

    Vans: 8

    Converse: womens 7.5

My feet most likely won't grow anymore, just to let you guys know.

I'm thinking a 7.5 or 8. Will they fit right? Thanks for the help!

  • How do I train my dog to close the door?

Yes, I have already watched some of the videos on this subject. But the thing is, you are supposed to train your dog to touch your hand which is on the door first, then move on to just pointing and asking your dog to touch the door itself. But my dog is confused and thinks the command "door" means touch my hand, soo he does is nudge my hand whenever I say door. It's getting me really frustrated because none of the videos tell me how to solve this problem. He thinks he should always touch my hand instead of the actually door and doesn't understand that my hand being there was only to guide him into touching someplace near the door. Please help! How do I teach him to touch the door instead of my hand? Any answers (no rude ones please!) will be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

  • My gums are puffy! How do I make them normal again?

I have braces and I have noticed the spaces between my teeth are kinda bulging. I don't think i flossed enough because it's really annoying. The puffiness doesn't hurt, but I'm afraid it will get worse and they will start to bleed and have worse stuff happen like disease. Now there is a gap between my top front teeth. It's not noticable, but if I stare at it in the mirror, I can see a small opening in between. Is it because of my gums puffing up? How can I make my gums normal again? Please no rude comments. Thanks for your answers!

  • Do pre-swimming conditioners help?

Like the ones you put in your hair and then you put your cap over it... Does it actually protect your hair from chlorine? Thanks for your answers! :)

  • How do I keep my dog from going where I don't want him to go?

I know this sounds like a lame question and a super easy question but its not. Please read:

Ok so theres this part of my house near the front door with marble floor. And the rest of my house is wooden. Obviously in the summer, the marble floor is super cold, soo my dog always has to sleep there. The thing is, my parents don't want him blocking the door and making the marble super dirty. We would rather have him sleep on the wood, but our dog doesn't want to, when he has access to the marble floor.

Please dont say, just fence it off, because that looks really bad because we would need a really long fence and it may scratch the floor...ok you might not be getting this, but anyways, we cant fence the area off.

We are ok with him walking there, but we just don't want him sleeping there. Right now, whenever he plops down, we shout come, and give him a treat to show that coming is not bad. but he just goes right back. I'm worried this will become a game for him and he will soon just lie there and wait for us to call him so he can get a treat.

How can we train him to not sleep there, but he can walk there? Sorry if this is confusing. I would appreciate any NICE answers, so please no rude comments. Thank you!

  • Little pink lumps on Golden's lip?

My 1 year old golden has a couple little raised pink bumps on his left lip. They are pale-ish and bumpy, and seem kinda blister-ish. I don't think they are sebaceous cysts, because they aren't white like some sources say they should be. He doesn't seem to notice them, nor does he flinch or look like he's in pain whenever I touch them. If it helps, we just came back from Vegas, which was super hot and his lips are usually black. I just want to know whether this is serious or whether it will go away by itself. Thanks for your answers. :D

  • Why does my dog have blisters on his lip?

My 1 year old golden retriever has a 2 small pinkish blisters on his lower lips (they are usually black). If it helps, we just came back from Vegas (super hot) and it's on his left side of his lip. Could it be because of the hot temperature? Please tell me why this happens and what I will need to do to fix it. Will it just go away on his own? Thanks for your answers. :D

  • Do lighter colored goldens live shorter than dark colored goldens?

I have a really light colored (but not english creme) golden. Some people have told me that darker goldens live longer. I just want to know everyone else's opinion on this. Thank you for your answers :)

  • how do I train my 1 year old dog to jump up onto the car?

My 1 year old golden retriever dog has always had a lot of trouble getting on the car. We know that he has the ability to get on because he is a big 80 lb dog. We have tried doggy steps but he just never seems to want to get on the car. Now, we use strong smelling treats to guide him on the car, but its just too annoying to always keep treats on the car. Our dog goes for the treats and puts his paws up onto the seat, but he seems to get on unwillingly, and we have to push his butt up to get him on the seat. It just seems like he doesn't want to get on! How can we train him to jump up onto the car by himself?

Oh and I've tried the whole "looking excited" thing, but he just doesn't care! I tried screaming, banging on the seat, and throwing toys up in the air. Also, we do take him to lots of fun places like the beach, Peet's, the cafe, and to the park.

Thank you so much for your answers! :)

  • What are the best sunscreens for swimmers?

I'm a swimmer and during the summer we have practice a lot! Maybe 2-4 hours a day? I tan super easily and I'm really dark. I just wanted to know what type of sunscreen I should use. I can't get out of the pool to reapply, so I need a long-lasting, super waterproof sunscreen. Thank you for you answers! :)
