That's right. What do you call an assault weapon? Anything that is semi-automatic with a black plastic stock so that it "looks" like a military assault weapon? If you outlaw semi-auto guns you are pretty much outlawing my handgun and almost every hunting shotgun and rifle that I own. Fully auto weapons have been illegal to own for decades. But as you so often accuse Conservatives, don't left a little thing like facts and logic get in your way.

I have been a STRONG Democrat supporter for the last 8 years. I campaigned and voted for Obama twice. I could never have seen myself voting for a Republican every again...until all of this happened. Because of all the anti-gun rhetoric you are spewing, I actually became a member of the NRA this morning.

The issue of evolution is what led me to become an atheist. Being a student of science, when I researched this issue for debate it was obvious to me the Christians were WAY OFF. It got me thinking that if they don't even understand evolution, why would I put faith in anything else they say. This was what started me down the path towards atheism and I know several other atheists whose beliefs 'evolved, the same way as mine.

The gay community was not going to vote for Romney anyway. It's pretty obvious the Obama administration had every intention of supporting gay marriage but was just holding off due to the election. Announcing his support right now accomplished nothing legislatively but could very well cause him to lose moderate voters and cost him the election.

I support gay marriage as well but this is far from being the most important item on the agenda.
