  • Need Pixel 2XL case?

I work in a warehouse and I need a case that will protect against basically everything, including water! This is important for winter.

I currently have a LifeProof but it is falling apart to the point I cannot turn it on/off without removing the case

BUT it is a line that is discontinued according to them and they said because of that, they could no longer honor the warranty and for me to look elsewhere.

I would prefer a case (or two) that is fully enclosed like LifeProof where I do not have to buy a separate screen protector and will last like it. Preferably one that won t cost me a whole paycheck

  • NEED HELO! I have received new goats, and one of them as overgrown hooves?

When I say new goats, I mean I have never had goats and the guy just dropped them off randomly. One of the hooves are overgrown on one of them to the point that it is curling.

I was wondering how hard is it to trimmed them, how, what tools I need, and so on.

Once again, I've never had goats.

They were dropped off a few days ago and they have just calmed down enough for me to touch them.

  • Looking for a website about recipes for salad dressings and vinaigrettes.?

I remember finding a website a while back that had a lot of recipes for homemade dressings and vinaigrettes, and am looking for it again.

I cannot remember the name, title, or anything else about it, outside of all that it was was about salad dressings and vinaigrettes.

The reason I am looking for it again is I am trying to eat more salads, but with food allergies it makes it hard to find ones I am able to have, and I would like more of a variety.

  • Looking for a twine or something similar to knit into an exfoliating mitt for a friend.?

But I need on that won't rot or mildew easily when used daily, or close to daily.

I usually knit him cold weather items for christmas but he is moving next year down south, and I've decided to instead knit him bathroom items instead. And I would like to make an exfoliating mitt for him to add into the gift, but would like to make it something a little more rough then Sugar and Cream yarn.

  • I am looking for a type of spotted orange lilies?

These lilies, I have been told, have fallen out of favor years ago, like 30-40 years ago. Many times when I have asked I have been pointed to plain orange ditch lilies.

They resemble the orange ditch lilies, with the tall grass that grows around them, and the orange, BUT they have dark brown to black spots on them.

I went by my childhood home where I thought they would be, but the people who loved in after us got rid of them all, so I couldn't even get some of the roots. I moved out when I was 10, I am now 27, so it didn't even cross my mind back then that they would be so hard to find.

I have found ones that are white with dark spots, and yellow with dark spots; but I am interested in the orange ones with dark spots that look like orange ditch lilies. No one I know has them, or has even heard of ones that look like that.

    Any help?

  • What can I replace Almond flour with?

I am sensitive to almonds (and pecans), high amounts give me the hives, but I am looking to make homemade protein bars because I also suffer from multiple food allergies. These include lentils and legumes.

I was wondering what flour(s) I can replace it with (that not soy flour (food allergies)) that won't change the texture too much.

The recipes I am looking at are from the "DIY Protein Bar Cookbook"

  • Benefits of first cousin marriages from an anthropologist standing?

I have be presented by my anthropology professor to figure out why in tribal based societies daughters are encouraged to marry their father's brother's son.

The only clues he has given is that it has to do with possibly avoiding a dangerous outcomes during war, and that it has very much to do with the women themselves.

Any possible ideas as to what it could be? I have been told by someone that it has to do with better protecting the woman and her children from being kidnapped by a rival tribe. Is it really that simple?

  • I need help finding a knitting pattern!!?

Christmas is fast approaching, and I finally have time to start knitting again. Thing is I have a friend who plays D&D every week and I want to make something themed around that (possibly a scarf, but I am open to ideas), BUT I have only been able to find a D20 pattern.

Does anyone know any other D&D knit patterns out there, that are either free or under 10$ (I am limited on money and am going to be using up stash yarn from last year), with good ratings?

  • Cover up after taste of rice protein?

I recently got some rice protein and I can just barely stand the after taste, though it is much better then a brand I had in the past. This flavor is mixed berry vanilla flavor. I am looking for a recipe or recipes to help make it more palatable, but I am allergic to milk and milk substitutes such as soy milk and almond milk.

Also since I plan on taking it in the morning before I got to school I was hoping for ones that didn t use the blender everyday, as I would rather not have to wash it everyday.

Also does anyone know of orange juice would help it?

  • Looking for a day lily flower?

I remember a flower from my childhood home. It is a day lily flower that is orange with dark brown or black spots like an Oriental Tiger Lily. I have looked all over the roads and all I have found are the plain orange lilies.

  • Need a replacement for besan (chickpea flour)?

I am allergic to lentils/legumes, which chickpeas are a member of. I wish to make Kadhi with Dumping which calls for besan, in both the dumplings and the sauce.

Is there any possible replacement that can be used?

Please be aware that I am ALLERGIC to Soy flour (I remind readers of this as I have had people tell me to have Soy because "it wasn't a member of the lentil/legume family" <<Their words not mine)

  • I believe my dog is dying and I want his last days to be as comfortable as possible?

I believe my dog is dying of old age. The vet says it is just his arthritis acting up and thus no reason to put him to sleep, but I have seen his arthritis at its worst and this is not it, it's not the same (the vet is the only one in the area). He is a beagle/sheltie mix that is 14 years old going on 15 in September. And other than the arthritis has had no health problems.

While I know there is no way to stop it if it is time for him to go, I do want to know if there is anyway to help ease his passing from this world. As well as what the best way to explain to a young teenager who has never experienced this before what happened/is happening

  • Laptop turning off?

My friend, who I am staying with, lives in an upstairs apartment that is like 40-50 years old. I usually do not have a problem with my laptop here, but today I am sitting on the floor and I have found two spots that when I move my laptop over it, my laptop shuts down completely. For this to happen my laptop needs to be on the floor, touching it; or a few centimeters above the floor. Nowhere else do I have this problem (that I know of in his place), my battery is fully charged and even when my laptop is plugged into the charger it shuts down when I put it on those two spots. It doesn't wipe my hard drive or anything, just shuts it down and any program that is running at the time.

I was wondering if the apartment below us could have faulty wiring that generates a electrical field that is just strong enough to mess with my laptop when it goes over it so we can report it to his landlord if it is a possibility so it can get fixed.

  • Hotpocket fillings for a vegetarian?

I made up some homemade hot pockets today, and I have decided in the coming future I am going to make up a bunch and freeze them for future use.

My brother's girlfriend is a ova-lacto vegetarian and I have decided to make some for her as well. But other than three cheese filling and creamy artichoke spinach filling, I have no idea what else to fill ones for her. I wish for her to have some variety.

Also, the hot pockets cannot contain soy or anything derived of soy, I am allergic. Beans are fine as I can mark them so I will not eat them, but soy and anything derived of soy can set me off by smell alone.
