My fiance and I are buying a house on the 15th. I dont file taxes because I receive VA benefits, child support and financial aide. My fiance has already been a home owner before but it was an owner finance situation. So my question is if I am the only person on the house but I dont file taxes do I still get the credit. What about my fiance since it was owner finance. What should I do? Thanks!
