There is this high tempo dance song, with trumpets playing, there is no other obvious instrument, no body is singing etc. it has been bugging me for a while now, it has been on a few adverts, most recently on the advert for the new episodes of 2 Broke Girls and The Big Bang Theory On E4. My iPad 2 screen was cracked today, the top left corner. So half the screen no longer works, it is possible to get around, by using the switch to flip the screen. I'm just wondering if it is possible to get fixed, and if so how much would it cost.

I have bought GOW 3, but when I go onto Horde mode, or any online multiplayer Mode, it says I can't play it as I don't have the correct DLC, does this mean that I have to download a map pack that costs 2020 points just to pay a game I have already spent £30 on?

Dan was walking home from school when he spotted his friends in the back of their local café. He would be turning 16 in a couple of days, and he knew his friends were planning a surprise for his birthday. If only he knew just what a surprise it would be…

He was waved into the café and his friends sat him down. Rory was sitting beside him, and beside him was Erica, the three of them were friends for years. Julia was another friend, who was waiting the tables, but took a break and sat down with them.

They smiled at Dan, and Erica opened her mouth and blurted out, “YOUR GOING ON A HOLIDAY!” Dan stared at her, confused as to what she had said, “What?” Rory laughed and explained, “We are all going to New York for two weeks for your 16th birthday!” Dan laughed, assuming they were joking, but their excited faces told a different story.

The next few days flashed by, and then they had all packed and were leaving their families at the airport gate. Dan kissed his mother and father, and smiled at his baby sister in her little buggy. They would not see him again for at two weeks. Rory said goodbye to his mother and his seven-year-old brother barely looked up from his DS. Rory smiled and shook his head.

Erica was crying along with her mother, her mother was always very protective of her only daughter, and seeing her leave caused an extremely tight knot in her stomach, which got tighter when her Erica started loosening her grip. Julia was by herself; her carer outside, who never seemed to care much for her left her. Julia, although naturally pretty, never seemed to have an attention paid to her, never mind having new clothes bought for her. She worked at the café on a very small salary to keep herself presentable.

But soon they were in the plane, flying away. They saw their families still staring through the airport windows. The pilot said, “Next stop, New York!” The three friends cheered and clapped. Then the sky started to fill with angry clouds, and they were unhappy with the excitement of these friends.

Erica stared ahead, thrilled. Her life hadn’t been easy, all she knew was the care home she had lived in since she was four. Her mother had died, and her father was an alcoholic, who had left her alone one night, never to be seen again.

They felt a jerk, and a shout from the cockpit. Rory looked around and saw people lying on the ground, he was shocked at their ice-cold face and staring eyes. Then he felt another jerk, and he felt a rip at his stomach, and went cold.

“Julia! Can you hear me?” Erica turned her head, and was straining to see anything, but she recognised Dan’s voice. Her eyesight cleared and she sat up, with much effort. Dan spotted her and rushed over, Oh thank God, I thought you were… well, I thought…”…” his voice trailed off and Erica finally seen his condition. He had tears in his eyes and his usually impeccable appearance was marred with cuts, while his clothes were torn and dirty.

Julia had shakily walked towards them during this time, “Your okay!” Dan shouted, her usual straight black hair was thrown around her face, and her permanent smile had disappeared. When Erica looked into her eyes, she saw nothing. Instead of the happy, care free person she was, a dark black shadow had fell onto her.

Dan tried to remember what had happened; already some memories had been forgotten, but some would always stay, he would never forget the screams of the passengers. The last minute pleading with God. The blood. The mutilated corpses of the dead.

Julia was shocked, hearing his story had created streams of tears which rolled down her face. She stood up, and seen the true magnitude of the crash. The destruction was indiscriminate, killing everything, man, woman and child. But Julia saw something even worse less than 50 meters away from her. Rory’s eyes were still open, staring, and he seemed to have been screaming. He had a huge, heavy wound on his chest and was so still. Julia started making her way towards him, but after about 10 meters she stared at her friend. “Why should I even look,” she thought, “What’s the point?”

Erica saw her friend drop to the ground; it was obvious that Julia had given up. Dan screamed and ran towards Julia, Erica knew she should be crying, she should be upset and shocked. But she had seen her friend die as soon as she had looked into her eyes and saw nothing. She walked towards Dan, who was lying, sobbing on Julia. “We have to move, otherwise we will end up like them.”

Erica supported Dan as he rose from his friend. He felt, even though they were dead, he was abandoning his friends. But he knew that Erica was right. He started walking with her, he didn’t know where to, but he was determined not to give up, ever.

I have had a problem with Steam since yesterday, I downloaded Football Manager 2012, and it worked for a day, but then whenever I pressed the Steam shortcut on my start menu, it say's, "Connecting Steam account ______" However, then it started to become unresponsive, this was happening for about an hour then I went onto the internet to get help with it. I seen that some people deleted something called, "ClientRegistry.blob" and then it began to work. I deleted it, and it worked last night, however when I pressed the Steam shortcut this morning it said, Updating Steam Platform, when I finished the update, the menu saying Connecting Steam account showed up again, and once again became unresponsive, so I looked at the Steam folder and I noticed that the ClientRegistry.blob was back again, I tried the same process again, with the same result, so what is wrong with my Steam and how can I fix it??

I'm playing multiplayer on Little Big Planet, and when I try to move one of my characters, he just moves his arms and head. The rest of my characters can move alright, but one of them just doesn't move, which makes the first level impossible!

I have had my PS3 for a long time, then the laser broke, so I bought another (out of warranty). It then got YLOD. But can I take the laser from that PS3 and put it into the other PS3? Would this be a cheaper alternative?

Next summer, an 11 year old, a 12 year old and a 15 year old, with 2 adults, what would be a couple of good cruises that won't cost a fortune because of our family size?

My cousin had a tattoo and she was meant to get a semi-permanent tattoo which I think lasts about 7 years, however it has been around 10 years and it still hasn't disappeared. I would like to get a tattoo, but only a semi-permanent in case I regret it whenever I am older.

However I doubt I would get one if there is a pretty large chance of it staying permanently.
